Finnebassen became to be because of his silky smooth house impressions, including regularly performing at massive Oslo night spots Jaeger and The Villa, as well as regular gigs worldwide, with recent visits to Berlin, Greece, Brazil and many appearances around the UK. For this runaround however, he creates a set to gear us up for the massive Amsterdam Open Air festival this weekend.

https://soundcloud.com/cosmo-vitelli hasn’t slept since 1973. Instead, he’s replaced slumber with the tireless exploration of dance music, sharing his finds as an accomplished DJ and label manager but also as an esteemed producer, with heaps of records, remixes and edits under his belt.
 
After spending his childhood between West Africa and Central France, a young Cosmo Vitelli moves to Paris in the early 90s. More indie kid than clubber, closer to rock, post-punk, and krautrock than techno, he plays guitar in various rock bands until he figures out he’s having more fun fiddling with a 4-track recorder and a sampler than with guitars.
 
He releases his first in 1998 on Etienne de Crécy’s Solid, followed by a string of EPs and remixes that are now part of the DNA of this golden era for French electronic music, notably his album Clean which Virgin releases in 2003. After a stint in the ruthless world of majors, Cosmo Vitelli creates https://soundcloud.com/imacliche in 2004. His fiercely independent label stands out to this day in the underground electronic music landscape for its uncompromising approach, simultaneously paying tribute to venerable figures and taking risks by exploring music from the margins, with a distinctive knack for finding talented artists before they break through (such as Simian Mobile Disco, Azari & III, Moscoman and Red Axes).
 
In parallel, he’s rekindled his love for guitars and pop music with Bot’Ox, Vitelli’s side-project with Julien Briffaz of Tekel. They released EPs on labels such as DFA and DC Recordings, LPs on I’m a Cliché and toured extensively, even scoring a gig at L’Olympia in Paris.

Currently based in Berlin where he’s relocated his studio, Cosmo is back to releasing music under his own name. He’s already released two EPs on I’m a Cliché and an LP of edits and reworks, as part of the Edit Service series. When he is not in the studio or travelling for gigs, he curates No Weapon Is Absolute along with DJ Sundae for a monthly show on London’s NTS radio. (https://www.nts.live/artists/31696-cosmo-vitelli)
2019 is set to be a busy year for him, with an LP for Malka Tuti to be released in two parts, one in Spring and the other in Fall, along with an EP on Ivan Smagghe’s Les Disques De La Mort in September and a new release in the Edits Service series also in the works. Lauren Mia Bio
A classical pianist and composer turned DJ and music producer, Lauren Mia began her journey in 2016 playing at underground events throughout the Los Angeles area. Her ability to capture the true essence of intimacy and love and sonically deliver them to the crowd landed her gigs around the globe. She closed 2018 with 44 performances under her belt spanning throughout California, Nevada, Miami, Montreal, Sydney, Melbourne, Tel Aviv, Germany, Costa Rica, Italy and more.

Her sound and productions fuse cinematic and orchestral sound design with her melodic house and techno productions.

Lauren Mia combines her classical compositions with analog/digital synths to create full-bodied impas- sioned sound. Aside from electronic music, she independently composed, produced and released an album of nine acoustic piano compositions in mid 2018. Lauren Mia has her first six electronic records slated for release in early 2019 on four labels based in the UK, Hungary, Italy, and Greece. While continuing to focus on her production and building the label, she begins 2019 with a six-month journey to Australia, Indonesia, Turkey, and Israel to share her sounds and perform.

Lauren Mia told us “When I play for people, I get to connect with them so deeply and intimately without words or physical touch. It’s like I’m making love to everyone on the dance- oor but through sound. Music is the universal language, a culture everyone can be a part of it. I just want to share my love and make my mark on it and inspire others to do the same.” 

As a result, she has named her entire brand and mix series Ear Porn Music and recently launched her very own record label, Ear Porn Music, LLC in October 2018. The label’s first release due in mid-February by e Sixteenth Bar. Ear Porn Music’s launch party at Sound Nightclub (Hollywood, CA) will feature artists such as Nolah, Dizharmonia, and others who channel melodic, cinematic.

Gab Rhome, Mark Alow - Microbioma (Original Mix) [Bar25-096]

After rounding up his Signature Series trilogy, on which Manual Music label boss Paul Hazendonk released six brand new originals in the course of the past year, now it's time for the remixes!

Paul personally selected the artists who will each remix one of the songs from his Signature Series trilogy. These artists are amongst his personal favorites and the sound they bring to the table reflect the philosophy of his labels- as well as his sound as a DJ; versatile, not limited to one particular genre but all in a certain mood / vibe.

This first remix EP kicks off with Arina Mur's remix for 'X Is Forever'. The Russian based artist has been turning head ever since she entered the scene last year with her incredible high quality productions across the deep house spectrum. She has delivered something truly special here and it's the ideal way to kick off this strong three-tracker.

Next up it's German producer fran&co, also a fast emerging name in the world of electronic music, not in the last place because of his popular Mad Hatter label. He has taken on remix duties for 'Unagi' in his trademark melodic techno sound. Proper rocker!

And last but not least it's a producer who can't do wrong at the moment; Colombian progressive house heavy weight Kamilo Sanclemente. It seems as if everything this man touches turns into gold and his rework for Paul's 'XOS' is no exception. You just know the progressive house crowd is going to devour this one!

The little witch was enjoying a very welcome shower under the waterfall at the foot of the mountain.  She was soon shivering from the ice-cold melting water from the glaciers of Mount Hermon, soaking wet and feeling stripped to the bone while at the same time feeling purified by the crystal clear water which was slowly on its way southwards to the lowest place on planet earth… the Dead Sea.  The witch of the North was soon joined by a young teenage witch from the desert in the East and a 6000-year old witch from the Mediterranean shore on the West.  Soon they let themselves float in the water while holding each other in a tender embrace with their legs intertwining.  Despite the freezing cold water, the little witch soon warmed up by the close contact with the two other women.  Her body even started to glow as she felt the youthful energy of the desert witch enter through her skin, where it merged with the immense wisdom of the elder witch.  Soon she felt their powerful collective kundalini schingeling flow through her body, while the 3 women floated towards the middle of the river where they slowly started sinking in a slow spiraling movement, which became faster and faster while the 3 intertwined witches sank deeper and deeper into the abyss.  Yet the little witch felt perfectly at ease in the loving presence of her two sisters witch, while the spiraling movement became faster and faster.  At one point, she didn’t feel the bodies of the other witches anymore.  It was as if the three of them merged into one superbeing and the little witch felt young and old at the same time, black and white, north and south and east and west fused together into one single underwater vortex, while the girl completely lost her sense of time and space.  She had no clue how long they continued spinning around.  Maybe minutes, maybe hours, maybe weeks… until all of a sudden the spiral slowed down and the witches slowly returned back to life… back to reality…
