Born Before God

Eugene Pienkowski's debut album "Air of Life" is the result of musical work of the last years. Some compositions are rewritten early works (Falling in Rain, P.S.), others are recently completed (Air of Life, Morning Magic). They are all united by the author's original style, which combines classical and modern approaches. This album is very varied. It contains works for piano solo, for piano and flutes, piano and orchestra, piano and synthesizer.

Like a bird in a cage doesn't know what it's missing, as it stares into the bright sky.
He never experienced wind on his wings, as his life was passing him by.
But he's sure that there's something.
Just beyond reaching.
He can feel it within his minds eye.
An ache beyond words.
A nagging deep feeling.
As he stares and longs for that sky.

I've written music for Taye Diggs, Ian Gillan of Deep Purple and Bed Bath and Beyond.  In summer of 2022 my recording Life Whispers On was #7 on Canada’s Cashbox Radio.  Currently finishing up a musical called Humane .


I'm playing all the instruments on many tunes, ones I'm not are…Brian Allen of Lori McKenna, Christopher Cross and Robben Ford on Bass, Michael McDonald's horn section, in addition to Yutaka Uchida playing drums on some tunes and Laurent Medelgi on guitar, also Danny Zanker and Joe Bearclaw Burcaw playing bass.
