Super stoked to share this with you all! I toured with Gramatik back in February on his Epigram tour. Afterwards, I was grateful to have had him reach out to me with the opportunity to remix any record on his Epigram album, well I chose this bad boy because that soulful Leo Napier vocal just spoke to me. Melodically and lyrically it's unbelievable, and I was able to give it that funky breakbeaty Jenaux sound.

A fresh remix by James Curd of "Floating," the latest single from Brooklyn based singer, songwriter, and producer Mattie Safer. The former singer/bassist for The Rapture comes back strong with a new track he made with Filip Nikolic (Poolside/Turbotito) that blends the classic feeling of New York's Paradise Garage with a modern electronic sound. With this remix James picks up the pace and turns up the funk, elevating the track into an even higher soulful stratosphere.

The fourth release on Safer's Dream City Sounds imprint, "Floating (Remixes)" brings three strong mixes from James Curd, NEWBODY, and Borussia and should be a staple of your playlists and DJ bags.  "Floating (Remixes)" is out August 18th.
