IT WAS SIMPLY ONLY A MATTER OF TIME AND SOME BASIC &  ROUTINE GROUNDWORK  BEFORE THIS YOUNG & DETERMINED RAP/HIP HOP ARTIST, WHO IS DESERVINGLY KNOWN AS "T-ELAGANT" BEGAN TO TRUTHFULLY  MAKE BOTH HIS  LYRICAL AND CREATIVE PRESENCE HEARD THRU OUT COLORADOS'  FAST GROWING AND UNDENIABLY  PROFITABLE RAP INDUSTRY. HOWEVER, DURING THE EARLIER YEARS OF HIS  CHILDHOOD,HIS TRUE  LOVE AND PASSION FOR THE HIP HOP CULTURE WAS BECOMING MORE OF A HOBBY,  AND HE RECALLS ORIGINALLY BEING  INSPIRED BY SOME OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL HIP HOP LEGENDS OF HIS TIME.NAMES SUCH AS "TUPAC", "NAS" ,"JAYZ" , "DMX" & SOME WOULD SIMPLY SUGGEST TO CALL THEM THE USUAL SUSPECTS.  
" I WAS GROWING UP IN A ERA OF THE EARLY 90'S, THERE WAS ALOT OF HIP HOP HISTORY AND GROUNDWORK THAT STILL INFLUENCES EVEN THE MOST WEALTHY OF ARTISTS AND COORPORATE "MEGA" LABELS OF TODAY'S  MUSIC LEAGUES." WHAT "ELAGANT" CLAIMS STARTED OFF AS HIM INNOCENTLY RAPPING AND TRYING TO MEMORIZE CATCHY LYRICS TO HIS MOTHERS THEN"BRAND NEW" COPY OF A  WELL KNOWN CLASSIC, THE NOTORIOUS "B.I.G"S  LIFE AFTER DEATH COMPILATION. THAT THEN TURNED INTO  THE  WHAT '"T-ELAGANT" VIVIDLY RECALLS AS HIS FIRST SUCCESSFUL "MC"  ATTEMPTS,GOING AS LONG AGO AS HIS GRADE & MIDDLE SCHOOL TALENT SHOWS."
 AS A YOUNG TEENAGER, I WANTED TO BE AWAY FROM THE WORRIES OF THE WORLD, AND BACK THEN, THEY WERE ALL THE FAMILY ISSUES. I FELL MADLY IN LOVE WITH MUSIC, AND WHAT IT DOES TO YOUR SPIRIT."
        BACK THEN "ELAGANT"   WAS JUST TRYING TO ENTERTAIN AND DISTRACT HIMSELF. BY PERFORMING HIS VERY SIMPLE & WITTY RHYMES  IN DETENTION. TRANSFORMING INTO A NICHE"  OF TALENT & SIMPLE LOVE FOR WRITING A FEW MORE, & EVEN MORE WITTY LINES THAN BEFORE."  "T-ELAGANT"  UNFORTUNATELY, AT A VERY YOUNG AGE, FOUND HIMSELF RELATING TO THE STRUGGLES OF  GROWING UP IN POOR NEIGHBORHOODS AND THE WHILE BEING RAISED  IN A VERY MISLED & TROUBLESOME ENVIRONMENT AT HOME,DUE MOSTLY TO HIS PARENTS TROUBLED RELATIONSHIP ALONG WITH A FEW CHILDHOOD MISHAPS. "ELAGANT" UNFORTUNATELY FOUND HIMSELF AT THE HANDS OF BOTH THE COLORADO JUVENILE CORRECTIONS & FOSTER CARE SYSTEM.ALWAYS  LIVING UP TO HIS NAME "ELAGANT"  IN HIS  TRACKS. TO HONESTLY COMPETE AND STAND A LASTING RESULT OF SUCCESS IN ANY PART OF THE MUSIC INDUSTRY, IT ULTIMATELY HAS BEEN PROVEN TIME & TIME AGAIN THAT IT TAKES THE TRUE DESIRE TO MAKE A REAL QUALITY REPUTATION AND DO THE MOST HONEST GROUNDWORK."T-ELAGANT" HOWEVER, WAS NOT ALWAYS SO FORTUNATE TO HAVE  THE DEEP CONNECTION FOR HIP HOP THRU ALL THE YEARS IN A STRUGGLE. "T-ELAGANT" IS PROVING TO US ALL THAT OVER TIME,AND HOW HARD A TRUE AND DEDICATED ARTIST MUST WORK,TO  ACTUALLY MAKE THE REAL MONEY IN THIS BUSINESS. IT HAS BEEN YEARS, AND SOME SONGS ARE JUST NOW GETTING SPUN FOR THE FIRS TIME TODAY! THE DEMAND FOR COLORADO RAP ARTISTS TO PRODUCE SOMETHING FOR OUR "BOXSTATE GRITTAS", AND OUR OWN GROWING CITIES,IS GOING TO MAKE REVENUE,OF COURSE THAT IS A GOOD THING. IT IS GOING TO BE REALLY GREAT TOO CREATE, AND DEVELOP OUR OWN DISTINCT SCENE,THAT GOES IN RAP HISTORY POTENTIALLY.
      WHICH IN TURN IS MAKING" WITHOUT A DOUBT" A NOTICEABLE UPRISING IN BOTH THE LOCAL & STATEWIDE COMPETITION FOR PRESTIGE AND SUCCESS IN THE INDUSTRY. ALTHOUGH A GROWING RISE IN SUCCESS AND NUMBERS IN THE STATE FOR THE UP AND COMING INDY RAP ARTISTS WHO ARE ACTUALLY  MAKING PLENTY MONEY OFF GROUNDWORK. ALSO THIS IS FOR THE UP AND COMING ROOM FOR THE LOCAL & STATEWIDE SUCCESS FOR THE ARTISTS WHICH HAS BEEN NICKNAMED BY SOME "CO"  ARTISTS AND  PRODUCERS  AS THE  "BOX STATE MOVEMENT".  ALTHOUGH WE ARE IN FRONT OF A CHALLENGE OF THE VERY YOUNG & "STILL-DEVELOPING"    ORIGINALLY KNOWN THRU OUT HIS EARLIER YEARS AS SIMPLY "TRAVIS"  OR THE NICKNAME "YUNG T". T WAS PREDICTABLE AND  A " NOT SO SURPRISING" RESULT  TO HEAR OF THE INVOLVEMENT OF THE LOCAL RISING HIP HOP ARTIST,DUBBED AS "ELAGANT"

Ja Binx

Born in Long Island New York, known to his peers as Ja Binx has always had the drive ability and the talent to take it to the next level in the music industry. At the age of 9 Ja Binx started out writing poetry in school which quickly turned into writing rhymes, inspired by his father who also was an emcee. At and early age Ja moved to Colorado springs, Colorado with his aunt where he was introduced to his cousin Chad Ellis also known as Doub X to the Colorado hip hop community. From then on Ja Binx and Doub X realized that they both shared the love of music and decided to record there first song together in the year of 1995.

Ja Binx then continued writing throughout the years perfecting his craft when he decided to make the decision to join the united states marine corps at the age of 17, where he traveled to Japan, Korea, Thailand, and the Philippines, which made him realize how big and popular hip hop was which inspired him to take his music career seriously. While in the marine corps ja binx completed several tours to Fallujah and Al Taqaddum Iraq where he served as the scout machine gunner for the combat logistic patrols leaving in and out of Fallujah Iraq. In 2005 Ja's truck was hit with an I.E.D. (improvised explosive device). Despite everything that was going on, Ja always found the time to write his music because it was the only thing that can keep him level headed at the time.

On completion of his marine corps contract Ja Binx then decided to move back to Colorado Springs to link back up with cousins Shaft G and Doub X who by that time had started up there own record label F.A.M. records. Within the first couple months Ja binx and Doub X released the mixtape "cold nights and hot days" which demanded alot of attention through out the hip hop community, in 2009 Ja then flew back to New York to link up with hip hop legend Freddie Foxxx also known as Bumpy Knuckles where they recorded the track "Okay k k k" which was released on the follow up mixtape "Code of Silence vol 1 the Omerta" which also featured the track "I aint Ready to go" with Harlem's own Max B, with that being said Binx was ofiicially in the "loop" as Max B put it, but upon the release of the mixtape Ja binx's cousin and partner in crime Doub X suddenly passed away which made Ja work even harder to take it to that next level. Ja was quickly introduced to French Montana where they recorded 2 tracks together titled "750" and "Lifestyles Crazy". With the success of the single "Lifestyles Crazy" a video was shot for the song where Ja binx started getting worldwide exposure of his lyrical skills and the ability to hold his own with major artist's.
