The Bassment Sessions Vol 1

Hello all, 

I know it has been a minute since I have posted anything but I have rolled this one around in my head for a while. By rolling around I mean should I post this or not. What follows is what I had planned for my set at Anime Weekend Atlanta 2015, but because of a called Gas leak at the hotel. The party was shut down before my set. I really wanted to see the reaction from the crowd when I dropped this set but what can you do. After a while I finally decided to post this up, as I am really happy with it and I wanted to share it with you guys. What this is, is a complete Japaneses DnB set. Turning Japanese

Ma'ku started on the path like many other DJs, for his love of the music. Classically trained as a violinist, he made the most logical next step - stepping to the decks. Starting with trance and house music, he found his true love with Breaks, House, Drum & Bass, Remixes and Mashups. In his first few years he spun a few house parties but nothing really big until he answered another call to join the Marines. The USMC gave him a chance to hear different styles from around the world. After spending a year in California and a year in Japan, Ma'ku came back to the East coast USA working hard on his passion for music. Spinning at East Carolina University frat parties and other functions around the state, Ma'ku came back to Atlanta to perform at Anime Weekend Atlanta 2008/2012/2015,Dragoncon 2012/2013, Momocon 2014/2015, and at Kingdom Rave. Ma'ku has been seen spinning at some of the South East’s most prestigious night clubs. What Ma'ku brings is a seasoned old school style of mixing with new school flavor.
