Since the age of eight, discovering his passion for music through Drumming, it has since been very much a part of Jace Taylor’s life. At twelve years of age Taylor began exploring his musical capabilities by picking up his first guitar as well as sitting down at the piano and began to create melodies & lyrics describing life events at the time. Graduating from WAAPA in 2018, Jace focused on his primary  passion, drumming, something he has continued to have great success with in the local music scene.
2021 sees the Perth-based singer songwriter step out from behind the drum kit, with his debut single ‘Truth in You’ due for release on March 17. It’s a song about accepting someone for who they are rather than for who you hoped & perceived they would be. With heavy acoustic sounds and influences from the likes of Lewis Capaldi and Dermot Kennedy, Taylor is excited about finally being able to release his own music for the world to hear.  “I’m extremely proud to finally release my debut single. I’m looking to launch my first solo EP by the start of 2022, playing nearly all the instruments on the recordings and forming a band to accompany me on my live performances.”
