Steyoyoke is proud to present the 7th edition of our Family Affair series, featuring four outstanding remixes from Soul Button, Nick Devon, JOBE and Clawz SG.

Opening the collection is Soul Button’s take on “Orcus”. Its breathtaking sounds create anticipation of an unfaithful atmosphere, absorbing the mind and drawing images of an army setting on an epic mission. 

Nick Devon’s reconstruction of “Indra” is dark and powerful. Its intensity and domination evokes feelings of continuous abduction to the sound of repetitive synths. 

Clawz SG adds his signature touch to Devon’s “Symbiose”. Determined rhythm, delicate melodies and soft kicks capture an illusionary dream of retaliating sounds that intertwines and drift into climactic synths.

Last, but not the least is JOBE’s version of “Constellations”. Infinite sparks of sound over the baseline holds the listener captive in a trance while pleasant melodies nurse the consciousness into the vast universe. 

Sink into the artfully shaped soundscapes of Family Affair Vol.7 whilst we look forward to another exciting episode coming soon in 2018.

We only release music we absolutely love, and so we are proud to present yet another very talented artist on Truesounds Music - Italy-based Unstable Son, with his new 4-track EP, Dystopia.

The title track ‘Dystopia’, one of the most outstanding productions that has come our way recently, combines a breakbeat base with contemporary melodic, liquid sound. The cherry on top is the vocal from Lily Und Wolf. 

For the remix, when it comes to quality we do not compromise, so we asked the underground icon, Martin Roth, to rework the tune and we are extremely delighted to have him on our label. With potential to become a club anthem, it’s most definitely a peak time tune that takes you on a hypnotic journey with a multitude of melodies and a groove that will make you dance till the very end.

The next track, ‘Secrets’ is a bit different with an uplifting, joyful, Ibiza vibe and a male vocal by Dcoverz. Finally we have an instrumental track, ‘Ypsilon’, with a true underground sound - just what Truesounds is all about. We hope you enjoy!

ANNA drops a triple dose of heat to mark her first EP on Drumcode.

ANNA first debuted on Drumcode with the irresistible groover ‘Portable Paradise’, which highlighted last year’s A-Sides Vol.7 and set up a busy year playing DC events in 2019. There was the memorable morning set at Space during WMC, two fiery gigs at Drumcode Festival and typically strong performances at the DC takeover at Resistance in Ibiza and Sonar. Fresh from her gargantuan collaboration with Kittin ‘Forever Ravers’, she steps up for a maiden EP on Adam Beyer’s flagship label.

‘Galactic Highways’ is propelled by an arresting peak-time riff and bombastic drums and was a storming addition to Beyer’s set at Drumcode Halloween recently. ‘Dimensions’ is the powerful brain scrambler, as a blistering wall of acid rubs shoulders with undulating bass notes for a dramatic finish. ‘Phase Two’ is a stirring, pad-laden beauty, driven by lustrous melody lines that cascade over the Brazilian’s punchy percussion.

Hi friends! Back with my latest mix. Trying to stick to a more regular schedule and post a new mix every 4-6 weeks, so stay close to this space :). Nick Devon Comes To Johannesburg Mix

Zaria is originally from Novosibirsk, Russia, and currently lives in California, USA. She has been a musician her entire life, having played piano from a very young age up to her teenage years. 
She then transitioned into playing guitar in rock and metal bands, until finally finding her passion in electronic music over the last few years. She started learning to DJ first, and then recently started producing her own tracks. 
Her true style has been found in darker melodic techno. Within a year of decisively dedicating herself to music production she released tracks on Subliminal Senses, Trippy Code, and BQ Recordings. Stay tuned for her first EP in early 2020, and many more subsequent releases.
