Ramin Rezaie returns to Solid Grooves sister imprint Solid Grooves Raw with 'Lucid Dreaming'.

A favourite amongst the Solid Grooves family and an individual at the heart of the imprint under his role as label manager, Ramin Rezaie keeps delivering inside the booth and in the studio as he shapes his clean-cut sound as a DJ and producer on the rise. Having launched his own label Silky Records to open 2022, May sees a welcome return to Solid Grooves Raw as he turns in fresh heat with 'Lucid Dreaming'.

Harnessing his trademark rubbery basslines amongst slick percussion, bright stabs and hypnotic, hazy vocal interjections, 'Lucid Dreaming' delivers yet another early hours roller from the label regular as he continues his ongoing hot streak.

Italian DJ and producer, Simone Liberali, is welcomed back to Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records imprint with his long overdue follow up to 2019's Ibiza anthem, 'Landslide' with the brand-new 'Inside You' EP. His music is renowned for its powerful, percussive and playful sound and his records have found homes on an impressive list of labels including Toolroom, Stereo, NONSTOP, elrow, Kaluki and AVOTRE as well as seeing him tour the world and play at infamous clubs across the globe including Egg London, elrow Barcelona and Pacha & Sankeys in Ibiza. Returning to Saved Records for the first time since 2013, Berlin based soundwizard Santé delivers a quality two-track EP of subterranean, bass-driven techno.

“Ghostwriter” is a highly hypnotic, heady and underground tech cut drives with a relentless energy. Build around a stabbing bassline, pounding 4/4s and fluttering synths, the track locks into a magnetizing groove. As the track evolves, the German producer eases in some fuzzy, warm electronics and lush pads, creating a subtle interplay with the intense, druggy layers that lay beneath.

“Stay” is underpinned by a devastatingly simple yet hugely addictive rolling bassline. As the bass grumbles below, punchy beats plough forward alongside loopy FX and soulful vocals. Stripped back at times but showing a matured proclivity for shifting through the gears, the track builds tension without ever spilling over into chaos.

Lorenzo is no newcomer to the scene with past successes on labels including NONSTOP, Moon Harbour, Flashmob Records, Deeperfect and previous DJ support from A-Lister’s, Joseph Capriati, Nic Fanciulli, Jamie Jones, Matthias Tanzmann, Kölsch and many more! Lead track, ‘White Havana’ kicks things off, a crisp and energetic cut featuring swinging claps, suspenseful synths and a playful rise and fall bassline. ‘Password Incorrect’ brings laid back House drums with crisply mixed percussion, looped vocals and a pulsating low-end which underpins a series of hypnotic synth hooks that grow with subtle melodic hints.
