Today as we kick off a five week tour of England, we are focussing on a wide variety of DJs and artists, all compiled with the idea to expand your outlook on the scene we love. Kicking it all off, a veteran DJ and music producer from Jersey, this is Denis J!

Emerging from the picturesque shores of Jersey in the Channel Islands, Denis J has been a driving force in the electronic music scene since the early 1990s. Influenced by the pioneering sounds of The Sunday Club, Human Movement and Seafield, three clubs all local to the island.  

Denis J's journey into the realm of DJing began in 1994 when he first embraced the turntables and was entranced by the hypnotic allure of house music. He immersed himself into the vibrant dance culture of the era and  quickly honed his craft, drawing inspiration from the melodic rhythms of Progressive House. Holding a Residency for four years at the Venue nightclub, he crafted a unique sonic signature that resonated deeply with audiences.

Denis J has remained committed to pushing the boundaries of electronic music, constantly evolving his sound while staying true to his roots.
