Sunday Night

My Glass is empty

She’s tired and cold, something plus thirty
She’s on her own, her mouth is dirty
She glances my way, her stare is blurry
As she leans on the bar to tell me her story 

“ I came to this town, my passion a plenty
Now it’s holding me down, my soul is empty
Can’t take to this life, it leaves me hurting
Just like the street marching people, they march without glory”

“Is there an answer, oh bright one oh is there a way?
Is there a solution, a reason to feel like a child  again, To be a happy thing?”

“I’m reckless I’m told, but the circle is vicious.
It stole all my gold and left me suspicious
I could start over again, but the sun has gone down

Fly - Dark Hours

Most often writing songs, my collaborator is my keyboard (piano).  These compositions frequently arrive in the electronic dance music genre with uplifting, grooving EDM arrangements!   The 'Dark Hours' is a collection of these songs and more.  Their arrangements stem from the original inspiration.  Piano and Voice (and a hint of electronica here and there ;)

Over the years, I've enjoyed performing the Dark Hours, along with cover songs that have nestled in my soul, across the globe.  From little smoky dives through to sharing the stage with Tony Bennett, the Dark Hours bring us together.
