DJ Sven Ginge Andersen is a Copenhagen-born music lover who has travelled the world, settling in his "little cave", New Plymouth in Taranaki, New Zealand. Having moved here and begun composing his ambient sound, influenced by such diverse artists as Moby, Jamiroquai, Fat Boy Slim and others of similar ilk, Sven engaged Wairarapa-based Underhill Studios to record, mix and master his nine track debut album.
Opener The Hunt is about the feeling of going out for the night, with uncertainty and excitement ahead. 
Track two is The March Of The Night. Sven always wanted to write a soundtrack-style number to represent his love of zombie flicks. Added to this, Sven found a hook wherein the societal fall towards fascism and the far right was representative of an unbelieving society complacently going about its business as the zombies come to get them. This track has a great video on YouTube, so go check it out and groove to that bass line.
Song three is Vaporiser, which is another deep dive into the emotions of the young. This time the track represents mortality and the feeling that "it only happens on TV".
Track four, the title track, is the most instrumental track and intended to be the darkest - not due to any emotional issues, but because one's id, the subconscious mind, can be as much a mystery to its owner as to a wandering intruder.
Song five is called Tibet. This one is infused with Tibetan singing bowls and chants, and is bleak and mysterious - like the Himalayas that enchanted Sven so much.
Song six is Oriental Dreamer. A song about the blend of the ancient and oriental with the modern and decadent. Think of a Geisha meeting NWA! Sven was amazed with modern Japan and its incredible blend of traditional Japanese culture, with the embrace of modernism and western culture. This song is intended to reflect the combination.
Track seven, Who Knows, is a move back towards the dance-orientated sounds that brought out the creativity in Sven. As an admission, the song title is reflective of the meaning behind it!
Song eight, and the debut single (check out the psychedelic vid on YouTube!) is Goin' Crazy '25. This is a more out and out blend of hip-hop, rap and dance pop. Sven wanted something to introduce his sound to the world, and wanted it to be an in-your-face blast of fun with a tinge of the Europop from his youth. The track ends with a guest vocal from his buddies, Estonian dance act Lady Garden +.
Finally we have Soleil de Cote d'Ivoire. This is a celebration of west African culture and music. Sven has added a sprinkle of French as a counter to the Anglo-centric lyrics of the rest of the album.

5. Tibet

South Wairarapa's Feddy Fedz bring you their debut EP, Step Behind.

The band is young, fresh and exciting, determined to cross commercial, catchy pop with harder edge lyrics and messages.

The band consists of Triple G (lead vocals and raps), Poppy (lead vocals, brass), Rocky le Tardeau (raps and percussion), Victor Aloha (DJ and raps), Bitey (guitars and bass), and Argon (lead vocals, raps and keys). The EP was recorded, produced, mixed and mastered at Underhill Studios, Featherston, by Jack G.

Track one is Step Behind. Lead vocals from Poppy and Argon, with raps also by Argon. Male vocal is from Triple G.

Track two is These Broken Dreams. Raps and vocals from Argon, more vocals from Poppy and Triple G.

Track three is Hold Me (I Wonder Why). Lead vocals by Poppy, raps by Rocky and Victor. Backing vocals by Argon.

Track four, Second Chance, features lead vocals from Triple G and raps from Argon.

Track five is Eternity Was All I Had. Argon takes on lead vocals with backing from Poppy. Triple G adds a vocal piece too.
