Emotional Rescue are proud to reissue one of Germany's best - if most underrated - bands.

As the Krautrock explosion of the 1970s came to an end, a new collective was formed. With an ideal that all members had equal rights to composition and decision making, Dunkelziffer was formed out of the original sessions that created the classic Phantom Band.

Centred around Dominik von Senger (Golf Channel), Reiner Linke and Helmut Zerlett but with a cast of floating members that included Jaki Liebezeit, Damo Suzuki, Olek Gelba, Wolfgang Schubert, Stefan Krachten and Matthias Keul the band made 4 ground breaking albums over a 6 year period.

Taking their cue from the classic Krautrock triumphrat of heavy repetitive drumming, intricate, overlapping melody and sonic intonation, Dunkelziffer added dub, soul and jazz elements to expand the sound in to the new decade.

Fully licensed and remastered, the release will be sold as one complete "Obi Set" of the 3 x 12", banded together with a screen printed Obi Strip.

To be released in April 2013.

Darius Syrossian was crowned DJ Mag’s Best British Breakthrough producer of 2012 and has been blowing up with big releases on VIVa music, OFF Recordings and Get Physical. A strong advocate for “True House Music”, Leeds based Darius is a core artist in Steve Lawler’s VIVa music family, runs his own record label and is a monthly resident at Sankeys Nightclub in Manchester. Darius recently remixed the Freaks for Hot Creations to great effect

Young Spanish talent Hector Couto is another VIVa music family member also with releases on Saved Records, his own imprint Pura Music and now set for major success with Darius on Hot Creations. Hector was one of Resident Advisor’s top 100 charted producers in 2011 and was nominated for DJ awards in Deejay and Vicious Mag.

For the first time ever, the Ive’s Brothers cult debut album is reissued, as ever here in remastered format.    Spread across 13 folk-acoustic-electronic pieces, an English ode to love mixed with a melancholic darkness that transcends any simple happy-hippy pigeonholing to offer so much more.

Emotional Rescue is delighted to announce welcoming the enigmatic, electo-acoustic duo Woo to the roster.    Consisting of brothers Mark and Clive Ives, Woo will be releasing no less than three albums, Whichever Way You Are Going being the first. 

Hard to categorise, their personal folktronica is the result of Mark’s melodic guitar, clavinet, bass and vocals running through Clive’s array of synthesizers, filters and effects, creating something unique and sadly still, a largely unknown genius.    

Described as sounding like the music the Durutti Column would of made with Penguin Cafe Orchestra if produced by Brian Eno, Woo have recorded over 1,500 tracks, however here for the first time is the remastered reissue of their cult and cryptically titled debut album.

With percussion that echoes elements of Kosmiche’s rolling rhythms, the subtle and often brooding textures and moods hint at fully formed songs that are in reality a series of instrumental vignettes which together create a cinematic whole.   

More than simple ambient minimalism, the liquid sounds seep in to your brain to offer a particular take of the English new-age meditative mindset - the green and pleasant land maybe but with a twist of darkness not expected across 13 laconic pieces.    

Released on both screen-printed vinyl  edition and CD, Whichever Way will be followed by what could be their masterpiece, Into The Heart Of Love. 

Released in June 2013.
