Flash Gordon

Daft Punk wrote the score, which was arranged by Joseph Trapanese with the use of an 85 piece symphony orchestra. Then I got my hands on it. At the time, it was totaly organic. All wood and strings and brass, no electronics or anything. I thought it was a remarkably wonderful, short little snippet of perfectly done cinematic drama. You remember the scene in the movie where the main charachters were driving through the outlands in that dune buggy? Yeah that track! Really nice. Anyways, upon closer inspection, it became apparent that the score was conducted using a metronome, I think it sat right at 90 bpm. It was like, begging to be remixed. Then I went of on some wild electronic tangent (sort of like I'm doing now)
