Like most of the hundreds of songs I've composed in my life, this song was literally written in my head.  The entire song from the melody, to the chords and overall structure was pretty much shaped in my head.  I could hear the entire song!

My father gave my mother a beautiful Valentine's Day card in 1973. "Our Love is Beautiful" was printed on the front. My mother kept it on her bedroom mirror for many years. It inspired the title for this song I wrote in the early nineties.

Ironically, I was able to give this song to Tony Bennett. He loved it, but his record company said it wasn't good for him.

Thank you dad for the great title.

Born and raised in the West Side neighborhood of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Woodbridge has dedicated his life to his love of music, where he began playing piano at the age of eight. He wrote his first song, “Debbie Dear,” when he was 12 years old.
