Ye Ye steps back into the hazy Ambi zone after letting the dust settle on 'Nt Uzzn' (Angels Never Expire) back in 2021 - This EP was due to be the follow-on from the aforementioned EP, but life and commitments got in the way of passion projects, both label and artist side alike.

2023 felt like the time to bring the release out from the shadows - Smoozsin is available for free download via yeyemusic.substack.com exclusively as a show of thanks to subscribers, readers, listeners, and general wellwishers alike. 

Ex A.N.E top brass @stone____________________/ has still been part of the journey with this EP, providing creative guidance throughout, alongside birthing the beautiful EP artwork.

EP Title and lead single - 'Smoozsin Cats' is an ode to the simple joy of giving a feline crittur a good smoothing down with the hands, in a mutual exchange of greetings, warm feelings and kinship, between two oddly paired species.

It’s been a wild end of the year for me here in Paris, working on three different shows, between last week’s show at Gaîté Lyrique with Neurotypique and IRCAM’s team ACIDs, end of January’s Hyperweekend Festival with rapper Gen, and forthcoming project with Lucie Antunes in mid-2026.
So a lot of new live music, but of course the beginning of my next LP is slowly writing in my mind…
