Action Jackson - Coke, Palms and Money

This song was recorded in late fall 2013 and not at Electric Lady Studios and not with David Mancuso... At least not physically anyway. Not sure if Mancuso can remote view or not, DUH, of course he can... So there's a chance he helped out spiritually if not merely inspirationally. I also never influenced Larry Levan in any way shape or form as a DJ. A fact I can only attribute to me being 2 years old when he started playing the garage. My parents did have a garage though, so there is that. The levels are also totally sucky, apologies.

2011 - I'm A Drum Machine (Step Up) (Ralvero Remix) - Denzal Park vs Wizard Sleeve {Preview}

This track is admittedly weird as hell. I ended up playing this amazing Swedish folk music record from the 70s on 45 RPM and the beginning of a Wu Tang sample record. Admittedly my Turn Table skills are more than a bit rusty. The main beat is being driven by an MPC 1000 which is sending a signal to an MSQ 100 hooked up to a Juno 160. The less than stellar vocals were performed by yours truly. I also played the Sci Six Trak later on in the piece. Turn Tables are Technic 1200s purchased in 1996 and still running like champs. The whole thing was recorded in logic 9 all live takes over multiple tracks with not a single moment of brick dragging.

Freyja

A live performance of a work in progress. Logic was only used to record and doesn't do any of the heavy lifting.

Inspired by 1987 Chicago House. 

First bass line is programmed into the MSQ 100 which is the master clock for the track. Then the 707 and 727 are synched via midi. The 707 sends out a trigger which synchs the pro one via CV. Then the Pro One sends a footswitch signal to the Sequential Circuits Six Trak which controls the time for the arpeggiator. 

Probably doesn't need to be seven minutes long!

This is a little thing I threw together in the spirit of Halloween.  I might come back and refine this into something more legitimate but nobody listens to my shit anyway so... who knows. As for tech.The baseline monosynth is the Pro-One. Samples are running off the MPC 1000.  The Six Trak comes in later as the arpeggiated melody. It's getting cycled via a footswitch pulse off the Pro-one. The MPC is the master clock. Sends a signal to the TR-09 who sends it to the 727. The TR-09 also sends a trigger to a TB-03 that is silent on this track, but sequencing the Pro-one. Badda-boom-badda-bing

Snowfall

This track is actually from a few months back. One of my first attempts at Clicks and Ports Arpeggiators in Logic. The original version was far more industrial with shit tons of distortion.

The remix version gets rid of the vox and heavy guitars in favor of mustache ride friendly Miami Vice drum rolls and Billy Jean style drum snaps. 

It really needs to be remastered but SoundCloud seems to flatten it anyway... that and nobody listens to my music anyway LOL.

There are no samples used outside of Komplete 8. 

Zartanica - MustacheLordzzzz Remix

This is an ambient track I've been working on. I was shooting for a Brian Eno Music for films era kinda vibe, something cinematic. Very much a work in progress, I hope to get another take in on the guitar and do a little EQing.

The song is made up of three tracks in logic. The first is a single live take of the mini brute playing along with some chords on the Juno 106. To give it a little more of a human feel I did a rough take playing notes on a Martin acoutic guitar miked with a condensor. Last bit of touch was a recording of a storm I took with the same microphone.
