I started writing this in Tokyo, Japan in 2006 on a 3 week trip with my mates Matt and Ian. I bought a cheap acoustic as I was getting guitar withdrawal. Sumimasen means "excuse me" or "i'm sorry" and is said often in Japan. I'm sure Ian was sorry for what he did to that hotel room.

Many a moon ago I realised how many songs I had recorded, and that although they are not perfect and are rough in places, they are definitely good enough for the internet and deserve a bit of preservation.

Any tracks prefixed with 'The Mistypes' are band recordings and are generally better quality and well worth the listen.

We were formally called Sumi Misen (a mistype of Sumi Masen)

This is also a tribute to the old days of playing music with my mates: Alex "Axel" Lewis, Jonn Hanks, Paul "Williasm" Williams, Michael Marshall.
