ØEN Records is back with a five track EP from Copenhagen based producer En Anden. Following up two tape releases with ØEN Records and S A M M E N, En Anden debuts on wax with “Hvor går vi Hen” consisting of five tracks from different periods brought together in new versions. The EP is testament to En Anden’s unique production style perfecting the subtle art of making tracks, where everything stand still, but is still evolving with small waves, connotations and intermissions. The EP is rounded off with a remix by local talent DJ Popup.

‘Good Face’ is the new EP from PolyGlove which finds the duo channelling sounds from old school raves to dystopian Sci-Fi futures. At first the EP explores the darker side of these future visions but as the record progresses it harps back to a brighter optimistic past, a time before the world became so self aware.

Following on from their last release ‘Leisureplex’ the duo aimed for a grittier and more aggressive sound which was achieved thanks to the re-collaboration with mixing engineer Rían Trench (Leo Drezden, Solar Bears, Panikatax).

The EP also features a remix of 'Good Face' from Rain (Oisín McGovern). The mix hones in on the original songs grit while also introducing trippy syncopation to the rhythm section and atmospheric delays creating a dizzying merky terrain verging into a harder sounding Kraftwerk circa ‘Electric Cafe’.

Having previously dropped two heavyweight EP’s on Freerange we now welcome Soul Of Hex to Delusions Of Grandeur for an absolute banger of a release entitled The Disco Permanente EP.

Brothers Gerardo and Emanuel Cedillo were born and raised in Mexico’s notorious northern city Tijuana where, for the past decade, they have been conjuring up astral deep odysseys which draw from the raw sensuality and restraint of classic house and techno, incorporating jazzy ﬂourishes and colourful shifts in tone, rhythm and texture.

Although only in their mid-twenties, they have contributed heavily to the house and techno scene, DJing, promoting events, performing live sets and releasing underground ﬂoor ﬁllers for labels such as Quintessentials, Secret Crunch, CVMR, Dirt Crew as well as their own Vicario imprint. 2018 saw them on hiatus whilst they attended the Berlin edition of the Redbull Music Academy. Here they immersed themselves even deeper in music, forging relationships with mentors such as Mad Mike and Marco Passarani, who would prove to be huge inﬂuences on the music to come from SOH, speciﬁcally this EP.

We’re proud to present you this killer ﬁve-tracker which shows why Soul Of Hex are deserving of your full attention and helping to place Mexico ﬁrmly on the map as a country producing serious talent.
From the crunchy, high energy drive of opener Disco Permanente with its MPC-style edits and punchy stabs, through to the optimistic vibe permeating through closing track Psychic. From the Soundhack-inspired craziness of Drum Fantasy to the live, octave bassline stomp of Polygon Alpha Funk featuring Cornelius SA, this is an EP deeply rooted in the origins of house music with a diversity, authenticity and overall quality which we feel makes for a true classic that will stand the test of time.

Four new original songs from Nachtbraker with intricate percussion and melodic arrangements. Diving deep into Nachtbraker’s wicked mind, each tune has a healthy dose of weirdness. 

Title track “Bay Be Blu” tickles the endorphin receptors with its euphoric melodies and ‘Stranger Things’ atmospheres. The second track leans on soothing warm synths gliding over a dub bass with tight drums. In addition, attentive listeners will hear Nachtbraker’s personal field recordings on the beaches of Barceloneta.  When the record is flipped one finds herself in “Tangelo Dreams”, a mid 90’s, Pacific Records inspired jam with a driving baseline. Rounding off the record is “Drip”, a track drenched in unconventionalism and oddities.

“Origins" is a collection of 6 pillars of exploratory electronic music from 6 different uprising producers and sound artists. A varied, yet cohesive collection of bright, meditative, and pulsating atmospheres.

Portland's Well Being gives us "Soft Mood", which is just that. Shiny, crisp percussive elements ride a groove that peaks and valleys in all the right ways. Gentle acid bass echoes out in radar ping patterns while swells of smooth synth and indistinct vocal chops fill the room.
