Bastard Jazz is proud to present a teaser 7" for the next volume of their Tempo Dreams series of compilations, this time around compiled by San Francisco producers B.Bravo (Brownswood, RBMA) and Teeko. 

This 7" contains two of the tracks that will be on the album, setting the mood for it's release. On the A-Side, B.Bravo and Teeko unite under their "Starship Connection" alias and provide "We Can Go All Night" with it's thumping, sexy boogie bass vibes, understated vocals and twinkling synths. On the flip side, Bay Area producer and vocalist K-Maxx comes correct with "Dreamin’ Of You” - an 80s R&B infected boogie jam that hits all the right notes.

'different strokes' is a short project I put together in a matter of days. I originally aimed to make 1 track a day for a week, but I ended up completing several tracks within the span of roughly 3 to 4 days instead. The whole idea is basically just a challenge of completing beats within a short amount of time with little to no breaks primarily using samples and sounds I had not found a use for prior. Essentially this project or 'tape' consists of a small batch of beats strung together by loose ideas, providing a few different "flavors".
