Born and raised in Chicago, and currently based in Los Angeles, Nay’s wide-ranging, eclectic sets are sonic expressions of their life– drawing from present experiences, past memories, and future dreams. Mixing house, techno, juke, club, r&b, disco, soul, classics, and edits you never really know what to expect when tuning into a NAYGOD mix or live set, but you can be assured that their blends will keep the dance floor active and have you wanting more and more.

NAYGOD has been featured as a guest on internationally acclaimed radio shows such as NTS, Dublab, The Lot, and Okoro Radio (and soon to be VPN 😀 ). They also co-produce LA-based party series, Supernatural– a party dedicated to Black, Queer, House, Club, and Electronic music.

Are my roots showing? Because our latest Honey Potcast exclusive mix comes from an artist that we go way back with. Longtime honey bees are no stranger to Shaun J. Wright, his distinct vocal chops, or skills on the decks. We've been waiting for him to make us a mix for the series since his set at our first ever DEVIANTS: Adult Arcade party in 2012. Using his Twirl Records label as a home base for new productions Shaun is celebrating a string of new releases, a couple of which make an appearance on this 80+ minute trek through the many faces of house/techno. We've been given little information about the mysterious Aguila, a fresh faced producer from Chicago who caught our attention with what can only be described as pure euphoria on his latest EP. Trance tinged music is back in a big way at the moment and his new release on Lobster Theremin offshoot There Is Love In You has had us listening on repeat. Uplifiting free flowing house music at its very best. 

We expect that this may be the beginning of something special for the producer and as such it seemed like the right time to invite him to contribute to our ever growing mix series. He delivers a progressive mix of house, techno and rave in what can only be described as a set with 'big feeling'.
