12. Seven Wonders

Welcome to my second official album, Through Air Vents In Benedict, written in the comfort of my dorm room at The University of the South. This is the first project I've worked on in which I really pushed myself to strengthen both my lyricism and production. I attempted to plow new ground. As you know, the last album I released had minimal production, only a ukulele and vocals. TAVIB incorporates many other instruments and harmony parts. As for the writing, I took on new challenges as well. I wrote about everything from Sewanee kids doing drugs during finals week to depression to ADHD medicine and my brother and even to how much I just really do not like strip clubs. I wrote songs while sober, I wrote while under the influence. I wrote songs midday and late night when I was delirious. I also wrote about 4 different girls throughout the album, so that's gotta be some sort of record for me. Special thanks to everyone who made this album possible including my parents who helped a lot with the production of every song. Also thanks to Bryce Cronan, Elizabeth Hollerith, Thomas Hatling, Marshall Farrell, and especially my brother Parker for featuring on the album. All of the recording was done in my bedroom with nothing more than an audio interface and a microphone. Enjoy.
