A nervous excitement
Led me into this year,
I entered equipped,
I conquered my fear,

It's the end of an era,
I draw my allies near,
I've got gifts and powers,
And I'm the big Boss here,


It makes perfect sense,
This storyline I play
I'm the only equal to
my challenger today,

I celebrate an upswing
With words I risk to say,
I unlock my achievements as
I get out of my way,



And opening the next map,
I try to get a sense,
Of what is being amplified,
cartoonishly intense,

What I am prepared for,
What holds me in suspense, 
And what has been let go of,
Now completely in past tense

CH.
I am not the first to say
That we are in a purgatory
Nor has it gone unsaid
That our world is a prison.

There is no bail hearing,
It's your ethics under scrutiny,
Self-transcendence awarded
For good behaviour.

1. Avatars of something we forget,
On the tip of the tongue, an
atrophied muscle, the soul.
These human costumes we wear,
Padded with meat and bone to lessen
The pleasures of incarnation,
While increasing the suffering 
we make for one another.

We chase our tails, starved
for agency, escalating issues
increasing our awareness that
this belly-up submission serves
to steepen the climb.


CH. I am not the first to say
That we are in a purgatory

2. We chase our tails, starved
for decisive action, options
never feeling enough to make
the softest imprint.
We scratch our nails down
the surface of the problem,
Knowing we, the criminals,
are wearing the raised red stripes,
and we wonder,
collectively,

why we chase our tails, still,
starving ourselves for
better treatment by a universe
that aches for us to
learn how to run with the
highest intentions for the
best possible outcome,
and not be distracted by
comfort, convenience, 
personal vendettas,
or what looks like a good deal.

Dancing With Mary

She is the rhythm of the sweat-soaked room,
vibrating with woofing pulses.
The walls are my skin, 
and the bass is deep inside, throbbing in loops
as I slide myself along the waves of melody.

She is the painting I make with my body,
that fourth-dimensional time-worm,
iterations mirroring each frame of consciousness
until the blurring series of moments
forms one fluid serving of presence and focus.

She is the deep melting sensation
That percolates down from my crown
alchemizing the debris of a stormy day,
eyes trace over sigils to repel the unnecessary,
while climbing into the channel with intention.

She is the translation of mind, spirit and heart
into skillful and embodied ritual, braiding
strands of repetition into cohesive warp and weft,
Making mythscapes of movements and dipping 
each gesture in a topcoat of glittery pleasure.

She is lingering passion, purpose, and medicine.
She is my stern, clacking steps into empowerment.
She is the thrill and lurking danger of innovation.
She is vitality biting into juicy satisfaction.

She is the blessing of the dance.

What do I want when I'm happy?
What do I want when I'm sad?
What do I want when I'm full to the brim
Having all that I've wanted to have?

I'm
Pulling at the essence,
Moulding and kneading,
with
Hammers and chisels and
Practice and reading,

What do I want when I'm starving?
What do I want when I'm numb?
What do I want when I'm telling myself
That I don't want to want to want some?

I'm 
crafting a substance
that's made of my bones,
and 
brewed in my marrow
are volumes of poems,

Who is it doing the wanting?
What is the purpose it brings?
How can I go about personal growth
When I'm too busy dwelling on things?

I'm 
scattering footprints,
'cross this labyrinth,
And
hoping my progress 
is helpful in a pinch,

Life is not only just wanting,
Life is much more than we've got,
Tell me the lessons here, maybe I'll teach
them to folks who are reaching out,
sinking like I have been,
thinking they've lost what they've not.

(sigh)

I'm deep in my journey
I'm carved out of stone,
Amazing how far the road
leads me to roam,

from at home...
from at home...

My steepening climb
Is fraught with the perils of 
becoming divine...

So 
What do I want when I'm happy?

Having all that I've wanted to have?

The answer is love, healing, wholeness,
Wished unto all the beings that be,
And wisdom and truth to the seekers proved worthy 
of hearing, and all they can see.

VISIBLYDISTORTED - WANT

Reach yourself fully in
submerged in the void
let nothing bathe your 
false sense of self
until you drip with potential 
that has no entanglement with mundane,
consensus reality.
Allow the you that you have built,
ego or identity clad, but resonant
deeper within you,
that core of essence shining from
each chakra and cauldron
each identifiable bit,
that you that is no other,
to gently, and with graciousness and ease, 
with beauty and blessings,
unfold into a multi-dimensional sprout.
opening to infinity, this insoluble element
of your being 
breaks forth like shell and flower
at once;
revealing a universe of yolk and pollen,
cells that contain whole continents of activity,
planck techtonics dancing with the
engineers of reality's surfaces,
giving rise to a composition of 
intersecting portals, seen with unseeing eyes,
smelled with overwhelmed breath,
heard with dissonant harmonics,
and hallucinated throughout the co-created textiles
of our lives...
these gates expand the journey,
allowing, nay, activating the probabilities least likely, and those impossible beyond the stretches of reason, to dance in a magical soup
boiling with foaming opportunity,
and burst a bubble of the potion,
letting the steam scald your fingertip,
having the delicate splash of membrane upon your pores,
and dipping only superficially, 
draw out the emptiness within, beyond, between,
that unclear boundary of limitation, the question mark beyond the fringe liminality,
that place past even the critical minded "most impossible" theory. 
There, you will find yourself. That being greater than which can be conceived, it is so called, 
by some of the philosophers,
and the artists know
that it's wisdom is easily accessed
in dialectic with the void.
I tell you, Journeyer,
it is to this destination of the unknowable, the yet unchallenged post-infinite, 
that imaginary number calculated to it's most irrational exponent, and further into absurdity,
that you must go, to discover what you seek...

But seek not the answers.

Reinforce what you currently immerse yourself in and radiate out. :) For me, the many good choices I make in philosophical soliloquys in my head become mantras. the mantras become emanations of possibility from the sources of my thought patterns and out into my work. I do my tasks with the intentions of my mantras and the wisdom translates through the actions and out into the results. This is sometimes totally invisible work, it is not like adding ingredients to a simmering soup, it is more like energetic signatures placed on completed parts of a sequence of events. it is long, long, long-arc spellwork, impulses of meaningful connection between source and manifested, but more than that, communication between me, in my true, uncorruptible nature and essence, and others, in their extra-sensory means of understanding that defy the signs and symbols of physical expression and dive into the unexperiencable through physical reality realm of pure consciousness and inherent knowing. Reinforce what you currently immerse yourself in and radiate out. Reinforce what you currently immerse yourself in and radiate out. Pick something like love, or something like good luck, or something like a blessing in disguise you can reveal to yourself in stages... but pick something, and immerse yourself in it, and radiate it outward, and remind yourself to stay in that sacred center for a moment once in a while, and make the neural pathway to and from it as deep as you need to, to keep it working... Reinforce what you currently immerse yourself in and radiate out, because it will be a save point for you, if you screw up later on. do it for others, so they can connect with you better with only quantum entanglement as their guide.
you can do this work easily, just make a mantra. say it in your head. say it as you do things. say it like a prayer or an epithet. nickname somebody with it or call yourself by it, or draw a symbol that represents it and keep it on a bunch of stuff and mark things with it invisibly with a gesture - but don't avoid trying this experiment for too long - you will benefit greatly from understanding it a bit more than my crazy explanation affords you. I welcome the sunrise with open arms,
bringing them to an equal armed cross,
The arms are equal, cross uplifted,
Sunrise glows; I'm at no loss.

With Sunshine in my name, and heart,
Two arms of sunrays cross my chest,
And many rays from sacred center,
Shine my love outward; my best.

The sun shines not upon the shades,
The spectres deep below, who sleep,

Fallen from the Barque I keep.

My journeys East to West are known,
My underworld path, also, seen,
