Les Étoiles ("The Stars") is a genre-defying journey from the muddy waters of the bayou to the infinite night sky, where ancient rhythms meet modern machines. Under the name Bayou Rythem, this project blends roots reggae, vintage French chanson, and swamp soul with the pulse of today’s electronic soundscape.

Each track shimmers like a distant star, with echoes of old soul, dusty dub grooves, and accordion-laced melodies orbiting around warm synths, hypnotic basslines, and crisp digital percussion. French tones dance with Caribbean riddims, while the heartbeat of the American South grounds it all in the humid, mythic atmosphere of the bayou.

Les Étoiles is both a tribute and a transformation, honoring the sounds of the past while projecting them into a future shaped by technology and imagination. It's about looking up toward the stars with feet still deep in the earth.
