Jackies Music House Session #040 - "Kerri Chandler"

“Here’s a solid hour or so of some upfront music that has been rocking for me this very busy summer. A couple of unreleased gems in there so please enjoy!”

In the beginning, jack had a groove. And thanks to heavyweight house heroes like Harry Romero, that groove is now back. “My love of house came from the culture,” explains Jersey’s finest from his studio headquarters in The Butchashop. Harry, in case you missed the musical memo, is a humble house music legend with classic club cuts like ‘Tania’, ‘Night @ The Black’ and ‘I Go Back’ with Robert Owens under his belt, but really that’s just the tip of the iceberg as his current catalogue will attest.

So what’s his ethos now? Simple! To wave his own flag. “I know what I’m capable of in the studio and behind the decks. Harry 2.0, this is my renaissance! “ He’s had a career that now runs across two decades but also recognizes that “this is a rebirth, not a remix.” It’s also about reaching a new generation with a catalogue that speaks for itself. With many charting successes from his recent releases on Classic, Hot Creations and even a global dancefloor hit on his own label Bambossa for his collaboration track with friend and fellow house legend Louie Vega. His ethos as both a DJ and producer continue to tell the same story, and it’s all about top-quality music.

Brooklyn Baby:  
Is a french producer based in the suburbs of Paris. His first release was made with the « Hold It On » Ep on Fresh Take Records in 2020.
His sound which is quite old school is based around the use of samples of Hip Hop, Disco, Jazz, Funk records and the use of acapellas as well.
Drawing major influence from the iconic sounds of the 90’s House scene and a range of modern electronic producers including Sebb Junior, Angelo Ferreri, Kerri Chandler, Adryiano..

Norman Doray:  
Norman Doray embodies the raw energy and passion of dance music culture: his dedication to pushing the boundaries of classic French House music while showcasing his deep understanding of the genre’s rich roots has earned him enormous respect in the electronic dance community and the unfaltering support of his fans.
Born in French Brittany, Norman began making music at a young age and before long was releasing his first tracks through Paris-based Serial Records.
