Created with FL Studio.  The 4th song in my Christmas tradition.  I think this might be my favorite composition.  I also experimented with layering multiple instruments together for fuller, more unique sounds.  I used several samples included with the free Kontakt player on this one as well.

Noises of Joy - The First Noel

Motion Motors HD Professional Sound Effects Collection. For over 7 years I have been casually recording all kinds of moving vehicles. Most of these sound effects were captured without any session planning or any idea of what I was going to get. I would setup whatever microphone or hand-held recorder was closest at the time and just let it run. Sometimes I would hear a construction vehicle or truck approaching and quickly grab a piece of gear and try and record it as it was passing by. Most of the time I ended up with something but sometimes just air. Whenever I heard a motor near the yard or out in the forest I would attempt to record it. Sometimes I would get up close and personal and other times I would let the recording device run for hours while I did something else back at the house. It was always hit and miss and what you get in this collection are the hits.

The pass by's in this collection cover a broad range. From smooth high speed passes to slow sputtering drive bys this crazy collection has them and everything in between. Long background ambiences of rural paved and dirt roadways are also included for those scenes where some "background traffic" is required.

Crazy doppler pass by effects can be created by pitching the sounds up or down and adding your favorite spicey plug-in process. Have fun and remember: never put your microphone directly in front of a moving vehicle (No, I did NOT do that, just some friendly advice).

Motion Motors HD Pro

Made for KVR One Synth Challenge competition.

Made in Renoise with 26 instances of the MPowerSynth plug-in from Melda Productions, and using only a bit of native EQ, compression and limiting. All sounds are my own patches.

This is my "tribute" to the Commodore Amiga and all the inspiration it gave me growing up. Featured are authentic synthesised sounds from a 9600 baud modem, authentic 4 channel tracker (well more or less.. lol) and authentic cliches from every tracker / demoscene / cracktro soundtrack there ever was.  :D Just a whole lot of fun really! Anyone who enjoyed the Amiga or was into tracker music back in the day will hopefully get a kick out of this silly thing.  I certainly had a great time making it.

BURP SFX Library Preview

On the morning of 06 July, 2016, I awoke to the mellow “poor-will-low” of a Common Poorwill and the distant “peents” and later the croaking “booms" of Nighthawks. Both Poorwills and Nighthawks are members of the nocturnal Nightjar family. I’ve gotten used to hearing them for the short period after everyone else has roosted for the night or just before dawn, but until recently I hadn’t been able to readily identify either.
Here a Nighthawk is still awake well after the sun has started its march into the sky, although it's not even 4:30am on this early summer morning in the Colockum Wildlife Area of Washington.
