I went back to the cave since I got Ableton and wanted something I could just have a go at recording something with. I'm not exactly thrilled, since I was so happy with Whispers In The Crystal Cave and this isn't anywhere near as good but it's all a learning curve I guess.

Just some improvisational guitar-work that I did just now. I never know what to record when I have recording stuff set up so I just laid this down and did it for the sake of it. My guitar-work is definitely not the best, and I don't have any effects; this was done with a USB mic and an amplifier. I tried to go for a vintage-y sound, though, I tried to make sure the gain wasn't up too high. 

Conflict in Ambivalence

Me covering M.Ward's "Fuel For Fire". Thought the song was class and tried to do a cover! I think I've accidentally tried to emulate his voice a little here.

I sampled the drum beat from the into track to MUCC's "Gokusai" album. The track's called "Rave Circus", which I guess isn't a very apt description of this. I just laid down a bass line and tried my hand at doing a little improv. I'm not the best guitarist, and I am certainly not a shredder, but I enjoy playing stuff like this, so I thought I'd share.

Getting back into the swing of writing stuff, I just put this together in the past hour!! Just a little electronic piece to match how i feel x

I have no idea why this track is called onion. A part of me is tempted to try some synth over it and keep it instrumental, but I keep feeling these Bibio vibes from it and I'd love to get someone who could sing right do a vocal line for me. (My voice doesn't go with the track at all.)

Just some gorgeous ambient harmonics, (like Rustie but with a vintage guitar sound not electonic) a bit of a groove, and a wee bit of sexy whispering at the end. x

I missed my guitar so when I got home from my week of travelling I actually put some time aside to make a little loop and this was my result. I used Audacity for it, which (as you may know) is definitely the worst programme ever for time syncing.
