Neue strassen is a band formed by Dan Shamble (guitar) and Werner karloff (synthetizer , voice)his musical style is influenced by NDW scene and the minimal synth scene in the mid-80s in general , The band name was taken from the song neue Strassen of metropackt.

MiniMon 6-6-2016

MM 060616 messing with an Ivoks virtual synth (emulating the classic Russian Polivoks synth). Starting with an initialized incidence of the synth (default unedited square wave)on two voice setting holding an octave in one hand and tweaking virtual knobs via the mouse with the other, while a basic arpeggiator triggers the notes. Recorded in one pass messing about with the controls run through reverb, delay and a bit of grit.

This is a soundtrack collage of music I composed and used in my feature film "Dark One-The Movie"
A drug-addicted poet searches for spiritual redemption as he cooks up morphine at the kitchen table with his Auschwitz survivor mother and pet bird. This brilliant, hallucinatory immersion into the psyche of Dan Biholar, a soul spiraling into oblivion, pushes the medium of the moving image about as far as it can go. Biholar vacillates between moments of acute self-awareness, disturbing darkness, tender sentiment, lyrical inspiration and delusions of grandeur. Award-winning experimental filmmaker and sound designer Darryl Miller was once in Biholar's shoes. With unsettling accuracy, Miller sculpts a sensory overload of hypnotic soundscape and half-melted psychedelic imagery that submerges us in Biholar's altered states. There is no safe distance from which to observe this visceral blurring between art, psychosis and reality-let's hope our sanity returns when the lights come back on.

Cold wave, minimal techno, electro abstract, avant- hard, hardcore techno, break core, IDM, EBM, Death Rock, punk Rock, New Wave,Dark Wave, Ambient, MiamiBootyBase, SpeedBase, Dub, RagaMuffin, Dubstep, Industrial, Noise, Experimental, world beat...did I forget anything?  Neophyte, for sure, and these are all my newly found treasures, that I have dug up from around the world.  One day I will produce some tracks again, until then, I will spend every minute listening to all the newly found gems!
