This is one of the first recordings of the song that I made, and you can definitely tell. Actually kinda wish I had added some real accordion and claps into the one I put on the album.

I wrote this like..... 4 years ago. It's about meat, because that can mean so many things. In some Latin languages, such as Spanish, the word for "meat" is the same for "flesh"; hence the use of the word "carnaval" for a celebration in which you celebrate your carnal desires. But I think the word "meat" in English is pretty gross sounding, and definitely does not carry the connotation of "flesh" in any way that relates to "desire". 

So yeah, "meat song" is about the grossness of meat, but also carnal desires and the struggle and conflict that our desires throw us into.
