Those of you familiar with Johnny Cash will know his song "Prayer of a Junkie". This is my rendition and my story. Intro was sampled from a live performance of "Prayer of a Junkie". I was told not to do this track, however, it was on my heart and i needed to record it. Whatever the outcome, this one was for myself and a message to those still suffering from addiction. My verses were written about one of my best friends Camden Jay Box who passed away and i think this song is easy to relate to for everyone. Its simply about instead of living in mourning, denial or emotional pain, we should all celebrate those pains cause even though they left a scar, they made us stronger and made us who we are.
