This is a new piece of mine, based upon our novel study in ELA class on dystopian societies. I was inspired to write a song based upon an "evil" theme that grows to a huge climax at the end. It's got a bit of a sad feel to it as well, because people are often unhappy in dystopian societies. 

I hope you really like this one, it's one of my more professional sounding pieces. 

Just picture yourself doing something incredibly epic at the end.

This is a chill song that I find speaks to me. 
My goal was that when you listen to it and close your eyes, you can let your mind wander and just think. Let the music take you to a different world.

I absolutely love the turn out of this piece. It's a very relaxed and chill styled piece, with a lot of piano, strings, and guitar. Just close your eyes as you listen and let your thoughts go.

Lately I've been experimenting with some different strings and orchestral sounds, trying to make them sound as real as possible. I love the way movie scores are composed, and how they can express so much emotion. 

I hope you can hear the emotion in this piece, as the cello and violins sing their melodies.

Believe

I've been working on this piece for quite some time now. It's another movie score-like piece, that was actually originally written by me in grade 10. However back then, I used one sound for everything so it sounded quite bland and unbalanced. I took the melodies and chords and made it into this beautiful piece! 

I know it's not perfect, and nor will it ever be. I'm just beginning to explore this whole "electronic orchestra" world, so practice will definitely make it better as I go. It's a little unbalanced in places, but it's beyond my knowledge how to make it sound just right... oh well.

Thanks for listening to my music!  I'm a 26 year old basement producer, who began with writing musical pieces for quartets and piano, then found the incredible style of Electronic Music. 

I hope that my music can show you that electronic music truly can be beautiful. I imagine every song telling a different story, with intricate melodies made with sounds that no one has heard before. The ability to customize and tweak sounds is what makes electronic music different from other styles.
