Time to get a bit soppy. After hearing that Jackmaster had passed I’ve felt a bit weird/sad/shocked. I’m only a fan, but on the handful of occasions we met he made me feel like I was his best mate. He's had such a positive influence on my life that I wish I could thank him for. He’s part of the reason I DJ, so I decided to do a mix. 

The mix is made up of songs that he introduced me to through his Mastermixes, songs I’ve seen him play live and his own productions. I thought this was the best way to pay my respects.

I’ve tried to make the mix make sense. It’s nowhere near as good as something he would ever do and I’m absolutely fine with that. If you like it, you’ve got him to thank. I don’t care if nobody listens to this. I’m happy with my tribute to the best DJ I’ve ever seen. Nobody comes close. RIP Jack. Love ya bro.

We had some slight problems with the sound but nothing that compromises the mix too much.

Forest Rave Part IV [Live Mix]

Jack II (to) Jack are a duo from Manchester that play a range of house and techno.

Formed in 2015 after meeting in college and instantly clicking with musical interests, they started out playing small gigs in and around Manchester.
They have played venues such as The Whiskey Jar, R Base and Sankeys and South.

They have held down residencies at two nights in the city, Infexious and 4/4, playing alongside the likes of NANCY Live and Bristol based duo, Kotu.
They also appeared on Manchester's very own Unity radio - With a guest mix and interview with presenter Stephen Corrie.

In 2016 they also won the Bugged Out Weekender DJ competition, Warming things up for the likes of Bicep, Artwork, Jasper James & The Black Madonna.
Fresh from playing two gigs Ibiza in late 2018, They’re ready to make 2019 their year.
