One of the best things about organising parties is looking and listening back to the moments and music shared. Sometimes the stars align and everything goes well with recording those moments, but most of the times it doesn't. :D

After our party with Good Block there was a week where this recording was playing on repeat. It was just so good. So we wanted to share it with you, despite the sound being a bit rough around the edges starting around 1h. So here it is, 2 out of 4h of what some say was the most fun mix in Orbita history.

Those recent years, his most noticeable effort was the most acclaimed release "Ritmo Fantasia" compilation he curated; an absolutely brilliant selection of Balearic Spanish Synth​-​Pop, Boogie & House from the golden days 1982​-​1992.

Jacob Kelly is the Owner/A & R Manager of Eclectic Avenue Records (E.A.R.) 
Jacob has been collecting music since the late 1980’s and this shows in his ability to transcend all genres with his eclectic taste and mixes.
Jacob is a producer as well as DJ and is well known in his previous guise as part- owner of Baker Street Recordings, one of the strongest underground house labels of the past 5 years.
Jacob has released on Music For Freaks, Saints & Sonnets, Minority Music, 3am Recordings, Artizan and Paranoid Music, to name a few. You may also recognise him as being responsible for one of the biggest House re edits released, J.Cub’s Lonely Club mix of Lil’ Louis’s Club Lonely.
Jacob also used to co host a specialist weekly National FM radio show, playing Funk, Soul, Hip Hop and House on Galaxy FM (which is now Capital FM).
In 2010, E.A.R. was born - a serious record label for serious music.
E.A.R is designed to be, as the name suggests, an avenue for eclectic music. This is exactly what you can expect from Jacob’s DJ sets - music which is able to make a room of people dance like never before whilst taking them on a truly magnificent journey.
