Originally released under his Oiryal production name, March 13 and his "Flight of Ideas" hit the catalogues of Melancholy Deep in July 2016. Now Yin : Yang revisits the track courtesy of a pair of new remixes from Eastern European stars.

With a self-confessed love of making electronic music, Hexlogic has hit the ground running over the past twelve months. Able to supply cross-genre appeal with work ranging from deep and progressive house, to electronica and trance, the Hexlogic sound has graced such imprints as Intricate Records, Colorize and Silk Music. Furthermore, a remix of Cosmic Gate and Julie Thompson's "Fireflies" for Black Hole in April 2017 has provided a stamp of authority for the Ukrainian producer. 

Following up on his remix of Tioan's "All World Lies" for Yin : Yang, the Hexlogic remix of "Flight of Ideas" provides a strong rhythmic underpinning with pounding beat and hi-hat urgency before echoes of March 13's original emerge with delicacy and skill. The loquacious vocal so prevalent in the original makes its presence felt as rippling melodic effects and a sumptuous bass line are brought to the fore in an emotive breakdown, before the driving beat takes up the mantle again in the third movement.

Following releases from top-flight labels including Knee Deep In Sound and Hot Creations, James Solace delivers the ‘Ghost Town EP’, a collection of four club tracks that span the deeper corners of the electronic spectrum.
 
James drives in with ‘Universal’, a 4/4 house cut that blurs the lines between multiple dance genres while maintaining a stylish, stripped-back feel. A pacey analog drum groove rides under tremulating synth pads and glossy arpeggios. ‘Ghost Town’ follows with delightful stacks of bright percussion over a deep-cut kick. Lopassed chords throb underneath while James throws us deeper into his hypnotic grooves with incisions of cowbell rhythms that offset the central pulse.
 
‘Spectral’ contrasts immersive ambient textures with diligent kicks and bright, splashy open hi-hats. Layering in ripping synth layers across a mesmerizing beat of effective synth chord stabs. James closes the record with the super percussive, experimental track ‘Thoughts’. His delicate layers of though-conscious ethnic sampling meet the hedonistic polyrhythms from the swathes of interlocking percussion instruments.

Launched in July 2019, Blaufield Music's FOURTUNES series - curated by label bosses Booka Shade - sees the iconic duo shine a spotlight onto four rising talents or artists of note from across the globe. Following the success of the first installment, 'FOURTUNES 2' welcome a fresh selection of names in the form of Casper Cole, known for his 2019 collaboration with Elderbrook, rising Russian duo Blaktone, Bedrock and Ovum artist Philipp Straub, and Athens-based talent Hacobb this May. Casper Cole opens the package with the electrifying 'Fader', fueled by uplifting tones and deep melodies alongside powerful basslines, whilst Blaktone introduce hard-hitting drums on 'Hypernova', powered by murky synths and sharp snares. Next, Philipp Straub's cut 'Powwow' marries organic percussion licks with soaring melodies and bright leads, before closing via Hacobb's 'Kite', merging atmospheric sweeps, driving builds and low frequencies to round out proceedings.

Welcome Alex Preda Einmusika. The Amsterdam based producer comes up with a melodic and dreamy EP for the summer. "Mind Program" is groovy and has a lot of playful lead melodies next to deep pads. "Before Sunrise" starts exciting and mysterious and then opens up some wonderful 80's textures. "After Midnight" is more functional and works perfect for groovy set's on a sunny afternoon.
