Frightfully Fun Parade
Frightfully Fun Parade is a nighttime parade at Disneyland Resort for the Disney Halloween Time, featuring a spectacle of spooky spirits from the deepest bayous of New Orleans to Halloween Town and beyond.[1] It ran at Disneyland from 2016 to 2018, and was moved to Disney California Adventure in 2019 as part of the new Oogie Boogie Bash; the parade did not run in 2020 due to the California parks being closed during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and returned in 2021 with less performers to comply with California COVID guidelines.

The parade was presented exclusively during Mickey’s Halloween Party, a separately ticketed event at Disneyland Park hosted over 17 nights.[2]

Pre-parade: The Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow sets the mood as he arrives on his ghostly black steed just ahead of the parade itself, carrying a flickering jack-o-lantern as a warning to everyone along the parade route. In 2017, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse joined the parade.
The Nightmare Before Christmas Unit: Based on the 1993 Disney film. Zero leads the way, with the Mayor of Halloween Town announcing the arrival of Jack Skellington the Pumpkin King and Sally, as residents arrive to celebrate their favorite time of year.
The Haunted Mansion Unit: Based on the park's attraction. Grim, grinning ghosts come out to socialize when it comes to “afterlife,” with swirling ballroom dancers, ominous gravediggers and a trio of hitchhiking ghosts. In 2021, since the Bride joined the parade, the hitchhiking ghosts became "walk on foot".
Dr. Facilier Unit: Based on the 2009 animated film The Princess and the Frog, Dr. Facilier calls on mystical powers, summoning his Shadow Men from the bayou to loom large over his strange and twisted Voodoo parlor.
Finale Unit: The sinister Disney Villains appear out of the darkness, including Queen of Hearts, Captain Hook, and Governor Ratcliffe, ready to stir up some trouble. A dark, dungeon-like lair takes over the parade route, bringing with it a wicked gathering of villainy such as Maleficent in her dragon form, Hades, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, Drizella, The Evil Queen, Jafar, Frollo, and Cruella De Vil.
In 2017, Ursula and Gaston joined the parade, while Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella became "walk on foot" villains.
In 2018, Vampirina Hauntley replaced Gaston, which was somewhat controversial among fans due to Vampirina not being a villain, her inclusion theorized to have been a case of Disney sacrificing thematic coherency in favor of marketing.
In 2019, since Dragon Maleficent took over the float, Jafar and Frollo became "walk on foot" villains, and Cheshire Cat replaced Vampirina.
In 2022, Sheriff of Nottingham replaced Ratcliffe.
In 2024, Mother Gothel replaced Hades.
Trivia

The parade theme is a remixed version of "It's Halloween-lo-ween".
The float of the finale unit was re-used from the former 50th anniversary daytime Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams and the former Mickey's Costume Party Cavalcade.
The Snake Staff that Jafar holds was reused from Disney California Adventure's former stage show Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular.
