06112018 - I got an SV1,

I'm getting more into looping after hitting the piano practice rather hard and have re-discovered a nice freedom with improvising compositions on the spot. 
The range of sounds on offer with a good e-piano has opened up my world a bit and allows me more flexibility in improvising. 

Nowadays I am thinking more about sound mixtures and choice of voices as well their range. I still need to improve on this, though, I doubt I will ever stop learning.

Much like my last post, I am loving playing with effects and keys (and some voice stuff for kicks).

These days music making is easy and enjoyable - which is wonderful

Further practice with hold and delay effects - I want to become more fluent and expressive with the effects.

Exploring more transformations available through the hold effect on my GT100. I find this works quite well as an alternate sustain pedal as well as holding steady rhythm when stabs are played or the pedal is 'bounced' upon. Really nice to explore the sound of the piano (even if it is just a sound pack), a lot of harmonics come out to play and chords can be built thicker and with more extensions.

Developing some cool sounds with the GT100 hold (warp) effect and the array of awesome tones on the KORG SV1.
