Five Islands

I composed 'Sick Fish' as a score for a dance piece that my good friend Rob Kitsos choreographed and performed. It incorporates snippets of my kids talking and singing, samples from language instructional albums, fairy tales from sidewalk vinyl, beats I made on my phone while riding the subway to work, and music I played and recorded specifically for this piece. There's at least one (very short) uncleared sample off a giant hit record from the late '70s that I challenge you to spot.

Videogame Boss Fight - Electric

I am classically trained percussionist who is mainly a performer and educator. I often find myself composing chamber music as well as recording little stock media tunes in my spare time! I love mixing both electronic and acoustic elements into one genre, in the classical realm we call this "electroacoustic" and in the popular realm this is just normal every day stuff - bridging these two things in creative ways is what I find joy in.
