Mit 16 Jahren kam ich durch einen Freund zum Vinyl und Mixing! Ich hatte und habe schon immer eine Leidenschaft zur Elektronische Musik! 2001 zog ich noch Leipzig! Ich bekam die Möglichkeit in der Coco Bar aufzulegen und so ergaben sich immer mehr bookings in Deutschland und Italien!

2004 zog ich nach Frankfurt! Durch das Nachtleben lernte ich auch da Leute kennen und es ergaben sich kleine Gigs z.b. in der Sugar Bar und kleinen privaten Veranstaltungen!

2008 traf ich Ria! Hier noch ein kleiner Textauszug!

„In einer Robert Johnson Nacht im Jahre 2008 trafen sich die beiden Leipzigerinnen Janet und Ria zum ersten Mal auf dem Dancefloor. Die Liebe zur Musik brachte sie zusammen und seitdem sind sie unzertrennliche Freundinnen für’s Leben. Da war es nur logisch, dass die beiden DJanes fortan auch gemeinsam Musik machten und so waren die Easterners geboren. Wenn man ihren Sound in einem Wort beschreiben müsste, dann wäre das abwechslungsreich. Von treibenden Beats und deepen Baselines in der Nacht bis hin zu melodiösem Vocalsound im Sonnenschein ist alles dabei. Der Mix aus Neuem und All Time Classics macht jedes Set einmalig und die Ladies sind für besondere Überraschungen am Ende Ihrer Sets bekannt."

Man Bro brings together two familiar Rotterdam voices: Charlton Ravenberg and Khalil Ryahi. What began as a run of late night hardware jams in a shared lockdown studio eventually shaped All Time High, an eight track album that drifts between coordinated chaos and stripped down rhythm. Techno, electro, acid and skeletal 808 drum patterns surface and fade, driven by hands on experimentation and intuition. Everything was built on analog machines and developed over the past few years.

Charlton’s background in rugged, left-of-centre techno shapes the heavier edge but also brings in the off-kilter chords and warped melodies that run through the record. Khalil, drawing on his Triphouse roots and years of steering the sound of Infinite Pleasure, handles much of the drum programming and detailed editing, giving the tracks their swing, structure and forward pull. Together they form a language that feels natural and direct, two working methods meeting in the middle.

All Time High arrives on December 19th as a super limited double LP edition of 25 copies, each featuring custom artwork by Steef Offerhaus, making every record its own piece. The release captures the pace of their city, years of friendship, and the unpolished energy of the sessions that shaped it documenting a project built on trust, improvisation, and the feel of machines in motion.
