Rumbler is back with a huge DnB remix from LEJÍA, one of Madrid’s must to watch producers and DJs, who’s shaking the scene with a wide broad palette of high energy music styles from the hardcore continuum. Rumbler, which opened the latest edition of Barcelona’s Sonar Festival, has released music in several local labels like Abundance or Noise Pollution, collaborating with artists from diverse music scenes such as Broken Lip (BSN Posse), SN Systema, Brava! or Megane Mercury. This time, releasing on Darkhorse Music, a new label based in Madrid, he goes back to his earliest influences as a DJ, which was 90’s and 00’s drum and bass records, taking the original dubby vibe of ‘No-ID’ into a sharp synths and breaks banger at 160BPMs.

BLOCKLAB is a duo of experienced producers from Krasnoyarsk, Vasily aka WASTA and Stas aka Sector.13. The guys joined forces in the fall of 2022 and have already gained recognition from genre enthusiasts worldwide. They have previously released on the acclaimed UK label White Peach, creating a solid following of club & sound system DJ's, radio hosts and fans

BLOCKLAB's concept, both as a project and in their compositions, lies in the idea that a single track explores entirely different moods, unfolding like a short film over 3-4 minutes. Their tracks are written in various vibes and emotional tones. This EP also features TRAKA, musicians based in Florida and Montenegro, as well as Nikita Oddkut.

SYSTEM is their latest offering, this time for System 108, known for multi-genre release strategy with fun in its cultural vision. Twisted 4-tracker, full of bass, cinematic drops produces a perfect playground for fans of heavy-rhythm workout.

BLOCKLAB & ODDKUT - Lost Thomas [snippet]

Lucika (they/them) is an artist based in Brussels, Belgium. After years of composing music for others in theaters, they finally did something for themselves : a first solo release with Yuku. Coming from live sound design on & off stage, their field work consistently combines both a reflexive and an experimental practice with a variety of colours, from acoustic to electronic, introspective to adventurous, always focused on a precise rhythmic work. The outcome of this research is often a constructed deconstruction which slides aesthetically between the genres of bass, postclub and breaks.

Earth Memory Colander is a four-track tense and fragmented project that combines organic sounds, sharp rhythms and swarming noises to shape the backdrop of a peculiar story : the tale of Fruglub : a termite who has been chased away from home by their Queen, the termite Queen. Fruglub’s internal journey of confusion, introspection, and potential revenge mirrors the chaotic yet cohesive nature of the compositions.
