Gamma Skies feat. Emmi - My Place (Lingard Remix)

One of Dancing Astronaut’s artists to watch in 2017 and the man behind one of the most impressive debuts of 2016, Beatport #1 album ‘One Day of Independence’ on Guy J’s Lost & Found, returns to home ground. This time in the shape of 5 incredible remixes by some of electronic music’s most intriguing and brightest stars.

Lehar, Luca Bachetti, Patrice Baumel, Termoment and Lost & Found head honcho Guy J have each reinterpreted their favourite off Khen’s future classic debut.

‘Imaginal Cells’ has been repurposed by the label boss himself into a beautiful slice of melodic goodness. With trippy FX details and a serene breakdown, its yet another Guy J classic rework. 

Diynamic's Lehar offers his take on the Khen and Guy J collabo ‘Prism’, turning down the intensity of the original with a sophisticated touch, he leads the track to deeper waters with an infectious melody that marries the familiar underlying key elements of the original in perfect symbiosis.

The sonic voyage continues with Luca Bachetti’s groovish take on ‘Authentica’. Adding to the recognisable lead melody, he gives the track an almost cinematic and atmospheric treatment that leaves you longing for more.

Patrice Baumel, fresh from the success of his recent remix of Cubicolor, tackles ‘Land of Goshen’. Taking the track in a more driving and pumping direction with a nod to 90s classic Trance, this track will cause a stir in sets from dusk to dawn.

Closing the collection on a trippy vibe with hints of old school Acid and an uncanny detailed soundscape that will leave you in awe, is Termoment’s take on ‘One Day of Independence’. A beautiful and fitting finalé to this weighty package of reworks.

With over 300 release behind their back the Stellar-guys built a decent sound, which is continously looking for fresh inspirations and new, exciting faces, while stay true to the underground progressive roots. The result can be checked on numerous beatport chartings, 160 of the label's releases were featured on beatport proghouse releases top 100, regular appereances on must have progressive house top 10 selections. The label's priority to support their local artists and give them the chance to spin live on parties as dj's.

By now a regular and important part of the Exploited Ghetto roster, Martin Waslewski has previously supplied bombs for the label such as ‘Rarara’, ‘Majaka’ and ‘Malindi‘. He’s back with another gorgeous cut here that’s set to delight clubs and festivals the world over across the summer and beyond.
A beautiful melodic techno cut, ‘Maserati Syndrom’ exudes class and grace. A nagging monotone synth hook drives away under chattering hi-hats, gradually evolving into a gently uplifting chord progression while a piano plays a languid refrain in the distance. A cute lead melody teases in the first breakdown, and the bassline drops in with the kicks thereafter. Swathes of distant pads create a cinematic atmosphere as subtle layers of percussion add to the driving feel.
The epic breakdown strips things down to bare bones, allowing the sweet main melody to take centre stage. When the beat kicks back in, the monotone intensity returns with a pared back arrangement, allowing the whole glorious soundscape to be built up once again. A gorgeous metallic arpeggio tops it all off, making the icing on this very tasty sonic cake.

Canadian indie electronic duo HOKI close out a turbulent Summer with an emotive new cut titled ‘Crash’. The song, which features on their forthcoming second album ‘Today’, fuses the searing vocal tones of Aussie Brent McCormick with a nostalgic melody-infused base crafted by partner Varti Deuchoghlian. The track captures the experience of a harrowing life-changing moment with beautiful contrast.

Joining the pair on the release are remixers Christian Nielsen and Dance Cartel. Fresh from a debut on Maceo Plex’s Ellum, Christian Nielsen delivers a vibrant club-ready rework with a trippy edge. Rising US-based trio Dance Cartel, who have previously caught the spotlight on the likes of Big Beat, put their own melodic touch and signature groove to the original in a blissful dance-floor remix.
