Having burst into 2011 with Hard Rock Sofa & St. Brothers ʻBlow Upʼ (the 5th Beatport Top 10 in a row) Axtone welcomes to the label one of Spainʼs finest DJ/Producers, David Tort with ʻOne Lookʼ alongside emerging Russian Vocalist Gosha.

The last 12 months have seen Davidʼs star rising to new heights with his interpretation of the classic "Chase The Sun" alongside Norman Doray, followed swiftly by the gargantuan ʻAreenaʼ with Germanyʼs Thomas Gold released through Dirty Southʼs fledging label Phazing. 2011 is shaping up nicely for David with ʻOne Lookʼ set to be followed with a release on Steve Angelloʼs Size Records. 

As you would expect from an Axtone single the release comes with an enviable package. On remix duty here Axtone label head Axwell, fresh from his Grammy nomination for his remix collaboration with Dirty South on Temper Traps ʻSweet Dispositionʼ this time turns to Belgian brothers Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike for yet another trademark genre transcending reworking. Completing the package is Franceʼs Norman Doray who adds a sprinkling of va va voom and a large slice of his signature sound to round things off nicely. 

Originally appearing on label anthology ʻAxtone Volume 1ʼ - One Look (formerly known as 'Something 'Bout You') enters the hallowed Axtone hall of fame as another benchmark in House music history.

Hot on the heels of Hard Rock Sofa's earth shaking Quasar, Axwell and Axtone unleash their not-so-secret weapon Trio from another set of Russian starlets; Arty, Matisse & Sadko. DJ support is always key on a record so when some of the worlds top DJs are playing an unmixed, low fi rip of a track, its fair to say its got to be something a little bit special. 

The last 12 months for Arty have seen him rise to the forefront of the electronic scene, straddling the big room and trance worlds. His singles Around The World & Kate coupled with Mozart and Rebound (w/ Mat Zo), released through Anjuna, have all achieved anthem status solidifying his position as the go to producer for killer hooks and melodies leading to his remix of Dirty Souths Walking Alone. Lets also not ignore him climbing over 50 spots in the DJ Mag Top 100 to reach No.25 in last years poll...
 
So to Matisse & Sadko, not only are they joined by music but also by blood they are brothers. They first broke international borders with their SHM inspired Hi Scandinavia that was scooped up and served out by Armins Armada records, swiftly followed by Svenska released though Zouk Recordings. Their most recent and biggest single to date was The Legend with their compatriots Swanky Tunes through Sebastian Ingrossos Refune Records. Matisse & Sadkos DJ sets, including Sadko as an MC and vocalist, have seen the pair regularly perform at Sensation events. They've also firmly established themselves in Russia with their radio show on Radio Record with an audience of hundreds of thousands across the country.

This spring sees the long awaited release of 'Sing2Me' by Germany's Thomas Gold through Axtone records - the 25th release in the label's seven year history. 

A highlight of Gold's sets for the last twelve months, the record has subsequently gained support from no less than Axwell / Swedish House Mafia, Tiesto & Calvin Harris. Tipped by the much coveted DMC Buzz Chart in it's Miami edition, 'Sing2Me' has been covered by leading EDM blogs Dancing Astronaut & Beat My Day whilst MTV featured the record in Miami 2011! 

The last 12 months has seen Thomas' star rise high as DJ, producer & remixer. His remixes last year included reworks for two of the planet's biggest female vocalists in Lady Gaga 'Judas' & Adele 'Set Fire To The Rain' with the latter approaching almost 13 million plays on YouTube to date. Thomas has recently turned his hand to Miike Snow's 'The Wave' which is scheduled for release post Miami Music Conference. 

His recent releases with Dirty South & Kate Elsworth in 'Alive' & 'Eyes Wide Open' have both been smashes on Beatport further cementing Thomas' place amongst the EDM elite. 'Sing2Me' isn't Thomas' first appearance on Axtone and it certainly won't be the last. He remixed 'Blow Up' with Axwell last year and is working towards his Axtone Presents Compilation, set for release this summer.

For the latest release in an unprecedented release schedule for Axtone, the label welcomes yet another fresh face to the imprint in Kryder & his tribal barnstormer 'Aphrodite' If Axwell's Remode of 'Center Of The Universe' announced a new wave of house music on Axtone, 'Aphrodite' firmly marks the return of groove back to the big rooms. 

Aphrodite has had an interesting route to release with Kryder almost scrapping the song altogether Roll forward 6 months and Swedish House Mafia debuted the single at their 'Black Tie Rave' followed by support throughout Miami Music Week from Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Alesso & Thomas Gold, all unbeknownst to Kryder back in Manchester. Quickly snapped up by Axwell, 'Aphrodite' soon developed that extra '10%% required', taking it from 'black tie ID' to an Axtone ready release. 

Since 2011 Kryder has made serious strides in the industry following 'K2' released on Tiesto's Musical Freedom label subsequently releasing 'Vyper' on CR2 with a further single penned for release on Nicky Romero's Protocol Recordings. This is not Kryders 1st exchange with Axwell, having remixed (alongside Tom Staar) Swedish House Mafias 'Dont You Worry Child' but if 'Aphrodite' is anything to go by it wont be the last time we hear from the visor-wearing wonder that is Kryder.

After a relentless 2013, German beatsmith, Thomas Gold, is ready to unleash his long-awaited single, 'Remember', arriving on October 28th via Axtone Records.

'Remember' is the long awaited Axtone follow up to the Beatport #1 reaching 'Sing 2 Me' as well as the 'Axtone Presents Thomas Gold' compilation. 'Remember' describes the story of a couple spending the night out and experiencing the beauty of the morning sunrise together. On it, arpeggiated violins soar beautifully into Kaleyn Behr's vocals, before gradually build up to a crescendo crammed with unrivalled elation and energy.

It's been an amazing run for the Berlin native, with his global radio show, Fanfare, churning out the best of Thomas' favourite tracks. He also saw his remix of 'Set Fire To The Rain' by globally renowned songstress, Adele, rack up over 15 million views. Thomas has also been working closely with both Otto Knows and Deniz Koyu for a set of upcoming projects.

Australian-born Kaelyn has landed several platinum records and major awards back home and he co-wrote the track. He also supplied the vocals to the Aston Shuffle vs Tommy Trash 'Sunrise (Won't Get Lost)' that became a ubiquitous presence internationally and had crowds chanting its euphoric topline. In addition to Sunrise and several high charting Australian releases, Kaelyn has appeared on major label releases from Wiley ('Tomorrow'), The Aston Shuffle ('Can't Stop Now') and the recent Hype Machine-topping collaboration with The Knocks and St Lucia, Modern Hearts. Bondi's finest, Hook N Sling, combines with Sweden's Karin Park for the most eagerly anticipated Axtone release of recent times (possibly ever).

There are certain records in the history of Axtone that have a quick path to release...others that take on a slightly longer journey. It's fair to say 'Tokyo By Night' sits firmly in the latter category, achieving cult status amongst Axtone fans worldwide.
 
Years in the making, the wait has been well worth it; with Axwell's remix leading the charge, proving once again that everyone else is simply following. Having taken on various incarnations in the production stage, one element remained a constant: the beguiling song, written by Hook N Sling and Karin Park.

In Hook N Sling (a.k.a. Anthony Maniscalco ... yes, it's one person!), Axtone welcome an act poised for big things in 2014, with this his first original release on the label after remixing Hard Rock Sofa's underground trailblazer 'Blow Up' back in 2011. Now LA based, Hook is perhaps best known for the singles, 'Take You Higher' with Goodwill, and 'Reason' with NERVO. His recent incendiary collaboration with Empire of the Sun, 'Celebrate', and remixes for Kaskade, Krewella and The Presets have exemplified his own brand of music with dance floor precision, artistic substance and mass appeal.

With Karin, an artist who is certainly ploughing her own path in electronic music with her album 'Highwire Poetry' due for release later this year, they have together crafted a timeless dance floor gem.

Stee Downes is a singer with a fantastic history, producing and releasing his own material on Sonar Kollektiv as well as releasing on some of the world finest electronic labels including Get Physical, Crosstown Rebels, 2020 Vision, NeedWant and Exploited. His collaboration with Lovebirds in 2011 "Want You In My Soul" was considered by many to be tune of the year and turned many listeners on to what Stee was capable of.

NEW_ID have set out their stall this year with a string of killer remixes and Originals that have garnered support from the likes of Pete Tong, Sander Van Doorn, and Alesso, both on air and in the clubs and festivals.
The NEW_ID & Axwell remix collaboration on Steve Mac & Mutiny UK ft Nate James 'Feel The Pressure' reached the summit of the Beatport release chart whilst their reprise of the classic 'Thrill Me' by Junior Jack is sure to be a festival mainstay for many years to come.

Having been tipped by Dancing Astronaut as one of Summer 2014’s Top Breakthrough artists NEW_ID are plowing their own path in the dance music sphere, displaying the quality that attracted them to Axwell’s Axtone imprint.

‘Tear It Down’ was written and recorded in the depths of the London winter earlier this year with long­time collaborator Styalz Fuego (Won’t Get Lost, Thomas Gold ‘Remember’) and Ivor Novello award­winning, Golden Globe and Grammy­nominated Amanda Ghost (Florence & The Machine, Beyoncé, Scissor Sisters).

On this remix, NEW_ID have taken 'Tear It Down' from a feel­good house jam, into a sublime slice of peak time house music. Retaining the soulful vocals in their entirety, ‘Tear It Down’ has a magic that’s been in short supply on the main­stages of late but this will be welcomed with open arms.

Hot on the heels of Deniz Koyu's 'To The Sun', Axtone line up the Chocolate Puma remix of one of the year's finest releases 'Arms Around Me' from Hard Rock Sofa & Skidka.

With the full release of 'Arms Around Me' coming soon via Island Records accompanied by a South African inspired video clip, Chocolate Puma have injected a large dose of acid to this disco­sampling anthem that has garnered support form the likes of Axwell, Alesso, Hardwell, Avicii & many more. 

It's fair to say everyone at Axtone HQ are long term fans of Rene and Gaston aka Chocolate Puma and their various guises; Zki & Dobre, Jark Prongo and The Good Men, so were all particularly excited about this remix. If we were to list all the fine productions from the Dutch duo we'd need a lot more space but standout tracks under the Chocolate Puma name alone include 'I Wanna Be U', 'Tonco Tone', 'One More Time' and more recently 'Step Back' and the wonky 'Rubberband Lazar'. 
And what about Hard Rock Sofa? The boys have been busy in the studio so expect a slew of new productions appearing from their Smolensk studio over the coming months.

Following Chocolate Puma’s remix of ‘Arms Around Me’, DubVision and Feenixpawl step up to the plate and deliver the most anticipated release on the label in 2014 (so far). Two sets of producers whose previous appearances on the label left an eternal footprint in the history of Axtone, combine to further solidify their status in the Axtone hall of fame.

Their previous appearances on Axtone being Feenixpawl’s collaboration with Ivan Gough and Georgi Kay for the anthemic ‘In My Mind’ and DubVision’s haunting remix of 'Falling (Committed to Sparkle Motion)' from Scottish Indie band Discopolis.

DubVision are red‐hot following their Beatport No.1 ‘Backlash’ & their Michael Brun collaboration ‘Sun In Your Eyes’. Feenixpawl have not been slouching either in 2014, releasing “I Won’t Break” alongside Trevor Simpson and reuniting with Ivan Gough for “Hear Me, Ft. Christine Hoberg a signature record in Axwell’s sets this summer, ‘Destination’ has been the source of much speculation online since fan footage started to appear online of Ax playing the track at Fabrik, Madrid.

November 3rd sees NEW_ID release their long awaited debut single on Axtone, which also happens to be their 1st single under their revised guise.

Having been a mainstay in Axwell/\Ingrosso’s sets this year, this peak time instrumental signifies yet another chapter in the NEW_ID story.
Following their legally imposed hiatus, NEW_ID firmly established themselves in clubland, collecting 3 Beatport Progressive House Top 10s along with a Beatport Release No.2.

Kicking off 2014 with their Axwell remix collaboration ‘Feel The Pressure’, NEW_ID then took on Junior Jack’s stonewall classic ‘Thrill Me’ adding their trademark train house touch.

The summer season saw an Axtone remix double­header with Kraak & Smaak’s ‘How We Gonna Stop The Time’ (7 Pete Tong radio spins & counting), swiftly followed by ‘Tear It Down’ that became a staple in Avicii’s sets.

Dropping in for the closing parties, their remix of Francesco Rossi’s haunting ‘Godspeed You’ debuted during their 1st of 2 shows at Departures, Ushuaia in Ibiza, garnering further support from the likes of Tiesto & Steve Angello.

Fresh from their Australia tour where they spent studio time with no less than: The Aston Shuffle, Kaelyn Behr, Moses York, Ivan Gough, Jebu & Rudy, the boys have also been working on a collab with "Groove Cartel’s" Tom Staar.

Axtone Records end 2014 on a high note, bringing together some of the label’s favourite artists with Kölsch feat. Troels Abrahamsen ‘All That Matters’ Kryder remix.

Denmark’s Kölsch is a new name to the label but under his various guises has sold millions of records worldwide.
Originally released on Germany’s cutting edge Kompakt Records and featured on Kölsch’s critically acclaimed debut album 1977, Kryder’s sympathetic approach to the rework brings ‘All That Matters’ to a new audience whilst retaining all the elements that made the original so exceptional.

UK artist, Kryder is a name well known to the Axtone community and having had a stellar 2014 pushing his groove based sound, ‘All That Matters’ marks his second appearance on the label following his 2013 single, ‘Aphrodite’.

Keen followers of Axtone will note this release is AXT050. Whilst not actually the 50th release on the label, ‘All That Matters’ epitomises everything Axtone has come to stand for: melodic house music for the clubs, festivals and airwaves.

New Axtone family member, Shapov arrives in style with a 2 track EP in which he displays his futuristic electronic leanings, drawing on influences from disco, rave & dance music pioneers.
Shapov is the new project of Alex from Hard Rock Sofa. The first release is this, his self-titled EP that features ‘Disco Tufli’ and ‘Party People’ - a collaboration with M.E.G. & N.E.R.A.K.

‘Disco Tufli’ samples vocals from a Salsoul classic that will take a keen ear to pinpoint, whilst ‘Party People’ is an out and out banger that has been heavily featured in Axwell /\ Ingrosso’s sets over the past few months.

Axtone is pleased to welcome Germany’s Eddie Thoneick to the Axtone family. The track, ‘Solar’ is an instrumental that’s set to dominate the impending Miami Music Week and beyond.

Eddie’s enlisted his fellow countryman and Axtone favourite, Deniz Koyu to add some bonus ‘Bong’ to this rolling slice of futuristic house music that has an unmistakable Axtone feel to it.

Bursting onto the global scene in 2006 with his Kurd Maverik collaboration, ‘Love Sensation’, Eddie has been omnipresent ever since. With last year’s Size Records release with Abel Ramos feat. James Walsh ‘Love Will Never Let You Down’ achieving anthem status.
