Happy Halloween of 2018!
This is my remix of the classic "Vampire Killer" theme from the Castlevania game series. My goal was to stay true to the 8-bit sounds of the original song but also to capture the classical elements that bring out that gothic horror feel. I hope this makes your night extra spooky!

Fun Fact:
My favorite Castlevania games are the Nintendo DS trio which includes Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia.

Today is my birthday! :D

I can't think of a better way to celebrate my life than to share music with you.

In honor of Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu & Eevee coming out tomorrow I decided to remix this classic video game song. The "Title Screen" of the original Pokémon Red & Blue games for Gameboy has always held a special place in my heart. I thought it fitting to release this on my birthday as we travel back to the Kanto region where my passion for the franchise began.

Fun Facts:

✦ I was 5 years old when Pokémon Red & Blue were released in North America.

✦ The Pokémon themed Game Boy Color featured in the album image was my first handheld video game console which I received as a gift along with Pokémon Red version.

✦ My first starter Pokémon was Charmander.

✦ My favorite Pokémon games growing up were Ruby & Sapphire. Looking back, my favorites are now HeartGold & SoulSilver.

✦ This remix is inspired by many different versions of the original song and brings together various elements from each of them. (See references)

Title Screen (Remix) - Pokémon Red & Blue

The first time I heard the song "Lifelight", or the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate theme, I was blown away at its beautiful melody and orchestration. I knew it was going to be a difficult task but I had to try and remix this song before the game released.

This remix is in dedication to the game's director Masahiro Sakurai and his team who have given countless hours to make such an ambitious game a reality. As a special tribute to the series, I have included the themes from other Smash Bros. games as well.
