DJ JACOB RT - BELOW UNDERGROUND DJSET

Jacob RT is deep cemented into the Danish underground scene of electronic music and a well known name among the clubbers in Denmark. Jacob RT started his career in 2003 and ever since he has been moving forward in a fast pace.

Jacob RT has played at a number of clubs globally; "Tao" in Las Vegas, "Elevate" in New Dehli and "Tantra" in Ibiza just to mention a few. Furthermore, many Danish clubs have had the pleasure of Jacob RT's mixes behind the CDJs, among others he has performed at Culture Box - What happens, an underground club in Copenhagen and Cafè Vesteraa (V4) in Aalborg.

As a promoter and event/party-manager and creator Jacob RT is able to look back at a large variety of successes. The events vary from respected as SIMPEL, RAW and Xstatic which are among some of the greatest events in Scandinavia to smaller events such as Rakumsjak, Social, 200%, Klub, Punktum and Essential Sessions. Moreover SIMPEL, an event organization Jacob RT has co-founded and plays a major part in, has been nominated for "The Best Danish Club Event" at the Danish DeeJay Awards 2009 and 2010. SIMPEL has been represented at with a flot at Aalborg Carnival, Northern Europe's greatest, in the past couple of years and is expected to be represented again in 2010. At New Years eve 2009/10, Jacob RT launched a new event in his hometown Aalborg; Flirt, in cooperation with the internationally acclaimed artist and DJ Noir and the local female DJ Mette S. Many fans are already looking forward to the next event.

When Jacob RT competed in the worldwide DJ contest Thirst, he was the first runner up in the World Final in Las Vegas, during which he played back-to-back with internationally respected DJs such as Gabriel & Dresden, Paul Oakenfold and Erick Morillo. In connection with Thirst Jacob RT also paid a visit to Los Angeles to co-produce with the widely accomplished artist and producer B.T.

Over the time Jacob RT's DJ gigs have included solo performances as well as performances with some of the most prestigious and popular international DJs and artists such as Dubfire, Deep Dish, Marc Romboy, D. Ramirez, Audiojack, Bodyrox, Ramon Tapia, Mason, Oliver Dahl and Ed Kane. Naturally Jacob RT has also worked with a number of Danish DJs including Noir, Tim Andresen, Rune RK, Thomas Madvig, Ronin and Mette S.

Jacob RT's repetoire is an eclectic mix of house and tech-house, during the early morning hours one will also easily recognize his deep sessions in the minimal and techno genre. Among Jacob's loyal fans a sentence often heard during those hours is: "I believe Jacob RT has possessed the stereo".
