William's proudest composition to date. a journey of twinkling notes, and open chords, strange tunings are william's forte, and demonstrates his ability to write a catchy melody, with out compromising difficulty. with sweeping complimentary violin, provided by jade morris ( bohemian embassy ) and a lyrical message not introduced until later in the song, we hope this song transports you the way it has us. a song for almost every mood. 

We March On (The Pretty Song)

A very oceansize/jeff buckley influenced piece. this one is designed to lure you into a false sense of security before plunging you into a dark heavy middle, to spit you back out into the bright twinkling light again. 

Lull

this is a completely improvised piece, after a blues lick william wrote, david was very keen to turn this into a meaty blues song, and it works. with screaming guitars, and beastie drums, david's soulful, bluesy vocals shine through. this song has a lot of room for improvement and movement. not often played live as a duo, but on the rare occasion we do, it fills the room with soul. 

Whats Best For Me

This one is a little different to the rest. a project william has been working on for a while, recording it proved to be a little tricky in the time we had. with many over laying guitar parts, and melodies, a hip hop vibe middle section, and davids husky vocals, this song is almost an anthem. We would very much like to re-record this and bring it to a higher standard. unfortunately, due to it's complexity, not one you will hear live anytime soon. 

The Mirror

this one's special, and another favourite of ours. Having Written the main structure of the song, we decided to get a guest lyricist in to do the song real justice. Dave (simplistic scientists) makes his mark on this track beautifully, with a spoken word lyrical flow and use of language to be reckoned with. The outcome was an inspirational hip hop song full of feeling. we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we do playing it. 

Turn The Page

our oldest song to date. The music written by william when he was 18, the tune floated around for a while. after an inspirational day at work, david rocked these lyrics in 20 minutes. and the end result never changed. Live the song has a different outcome, but we hope our juvenile minds shine through. Remember, wear protection. 

The Circus

Written primarily by david, this song is an ode to that sitting in a field feel. lyrically relating to our hidden past, with catchy guitar licks, a 100% improved solo, and a feel that will get you on your feet. 

Desolation Road

One of our favourites, with strong hip hop influences, and ambient rock, a catchy sing a long chorus, this is definitely the one live!

Hazy Daze (of Mundanity)

A Riff based hook, with political drive. 

The Illusion, Of Freedom Of Choice

William Jacobs's and David Gunner's coming together of the thing they love most. With the help of some yokel local's we recorded some tracks for you. With William at the helm writing, and david's hard work at taking on production, this is the result. We are pleased, and we hope you are too. All of these demo's are subject to a little change, which is noticeable more so in our live set, in which we encourage you to join us. As you will hear, we draw on many influences, and hope that we can utilise all that we love, into something you can love too.  We couldn't have done it without the love and support of our friend's and family, and more importantly each other. Let's see what happens next!
