A duet for vibraphone and marimba, written during autumn 2021. The music depicts the journey of water during a phenomena called "vårflod", or "spring thaw". The water transforms from cold snow and ice, into overflowing rivers that eventually finds home to a calm lake.

As the name hints (''The waltz of a thief''), this song is made as a pastiche from Yoko Shimomuras arrangement of ''Valse di Fantastica''.
I would not call this an original idea, but more of an experiment for me to work with a new genre and new techniques.
With that in mind, there is still a lot that seperates the two songs. Please, enjoy!

This piece was written in Janurary 2019 as part of an assignment that had me write a choral piece for Hjo Folkhögskolas Vokalensamble.

This piece was made entirely by sounds produced and recorded from an electric guitar. I mainly used granular synthesising to then manipulate the sounds to create pads, leads, percussion etc.
