After Bardia Salour and his parents had to leave Iran in the late 70s, they found themselves in Germany, as the German authorities were the first to accept their visa applications. João Braga, also known as JGB , was born and raised in Niterói. He began producing his music with no particular intention, simply as a way to express his momentary feelings. Currently, he seeks the "deconstruction" of environments in his productions. Intense loops and somber soundscapes are key elements of his music.

Incorporating both analog and digital equipment in his productions, he usually records his creations live on a multi-track tape recorder. He believes that limitations, to some extent, can help achieve more direct and concrete ideas in his "jams."

JGB  is a solo project but engages in collaborations with other artists. He has participated in various projects, such as the TRAFO project with Alex Sheeny, producing music with Ak Thunder, among others.

After over 30 years of making music, playing on stage in different Rock/Punk/Alternative bands as a singer, guitar player, bass player and after these two weird years of Covid times, the time came in 2023 to renew everything, explore, discover, learn new skills, and reinvent myself as an electronic music producer. 
It's a whole new world with whole new skills to learn, a blank canvas to paint with sounds, a brand new chapter in my music career.
My very firsts tracks came very quickly and i decided to send them to labels and see if i have feedback and where it goes from there...
I was amazingly surprised  and honored that 5 tracks were chosen to be released as an EP titled "Golden Ratio" on the label BAU_HAUS in January 2024.
To this day, with my 2 years experience as a producer, i'm still learning and i'm well aware that my style is deeply influenced by so many genres outside of electronic music, i follow my flow, and many tracks are there to be released and so much more are in the making.
