João Braga, also known as JGB , was born and raised in Niterói. He began producing his music with no particular intention, simply as a way to express his momentary feelings. Currently, he seeks the "deconstruction" of environments in his productions. Intense loops and somber soundscapes are key elements of his music.

Incorporating both analog and digital equipment in his productions, he usually records his creations live on a multi-track tape recorder. He believes that limitations, to some extent, can help achieve more direct and concrete ideas in his "jams."
