As thousands of burners descend upon the Black Rock Desert to come together for an unsanctioned Burning Man gathering, we held a small gathering in Venice Beach.  We celebrated the bonds that have connected us together after two decades of heading to the desert.

This was my first trip to the Joshua Tree Music Festival.  It definitely lived up to and exceeded any expectations I may have had.  The beautiful community of music enthusiasts it attracted was second to none.  They came with me wherever I went musically.  There's nothing like being physically present, but I'm trusting some of the magic from that beautiful evening under stars will translate via this recording into something that will leave your soul smiling. My two hour live mix from atop Charlie the Unicorn, during Burning Man 2015.

From darkness to sunrise, I had the honor to play this set on top of "Charlie the Unicorn" (the legendary art car) surrounded by close and new friends @ Burning man 2015.

DEEP PLAYA Sunrise set on Charlie the UNICORN

This set was recorded live on the Disco Space Shuttle with an incredible trumpet player by the name of Pablo (Paul Theodore Chandler). We were engulfed by a massive dust storm for the first couple hours of this set but it didn't slow us down. We kept the vibe going until the skies cleared and provide a beautiful view of the Man burning. 

The final hour of the set was a 2x2 tag team session with Lushbunny while we drove around the Playa looking for trouble. 

Big shoutout to the Disco Space Shuttle crew for sharing their vibe, sound and love with all of us on Burn Night.

Here's the set I did at the closing day of Afrikaburn 2017 on Sunday morning. The week was already perfect but I couldn't finish it in a better way than sharing this moment with all the ones in front of me. What an incredible experience... I hope it's gonna remind some of the people present this magical moment. And for the others that you can imagine the journey it was at the end of this dusty week drinking bubbles during the morning. Thanks for all the smiles and lovely souls I met before, during and after this set :D

Burning Man Sunrise after Tycho - 2018 - DJ Dane on the Dusty Rhino

Silence decorator and curator of fine grooves formerly known has Jacques the Ripper , Jacques started playing at house parties for friends thirsty for good music and good vibes, then it  quickly progressed to playing small to medium events and West coast festivals. A long life bedroom dj and music lover he ended up at the  Burning Man festival where the desire to move from the dance floor to behind the decks happened. Founder of the infamous "kundalini lounge" and  the "Groove lounge " his  musical journey continued all over the US west coast, Mexico, Colombia, Thailand and his native birth country  of France. Able to read a crowd ,possessing  an eclectic library of heavy bass lines , sexy beats and melodic grooves he can adapt to various vibes and take the dance floor on epic journeys. Late night sexy vibes or memorable sunrise sets is where he exels and feels right at home. Unable to perform during the pandemic he started producing with close producer friends and released 3 tracks and is working on new ones . Focused on music and not social media his relentless thirst for  sharing music and making people dance  is has fresh as his first sets in front of his friends back in the days.
