With Summer slowly reaching its end, I've decided to share my set from AIM, which was one (amongst many) of my highlights of the year. The beautiful crowd, the gorgeous sunny day without a cloud in sight, the gentle breeze by the water; it was a perfect experience. I felt so much joy and positivity that was radiating from the dancers in front of me. I was having a total blast and I'm sure that whoever was there could tell ;)

Based in Sydney, Australia, @OLIIV is a DJ best known for her versatile sweeps of melodic and deep sounds, with a serious penchant for late night indie dance.

Her musical passions have earnt her a residency with Return To Rio, whilst also hosting club nights as co-founder of the The Fan Club Collective. She has curated podcasts that have been featured on international platforms and radio stations, as well as running her own podcast series Fan Club Friends. OLIIV has played shows in Melbourne and Brisbane and has supported names such as Jody Wisternoff, Sébastien Léger, Roy Rosenfeld, Emanuel Satie and Eli Nissan to name a few. She is also the Music Director and co-coordinator for Neomenia - a Sydney based boutique festival.

With some international gigs on the horizon, we can expect more exciting things from her soon.

Jacqui Mateo shares stories with their sound, tracing the lineage of house - from classic Chicago, Detroit, and New York to its far reaches today. Dancing between the deep, the soulful, the hypnotic, but always from the heart.

Born and raised in Chicago, Jacqui Mateo grew up immersed in music from hip-hop to house, jazz to blues. Classically-trained musicians from an early age, the two played and produced individually for years before a serendipitous glance at Smartbar collided their worlds. Not long after, in a cabin in Wyoming and beneath the stars in the Moab desert, they began their sonic journey together. They’ve since played around the world from Berlin to Burning Man, and now reside in Los Angeles. 

Individually they are Jac Høja - ethereal cellist, vocalist and sound meditation facilitator, and Saiklōn - ambient and hypnotic techno artist. The two are also a part of the founding teams of REVIVEcollective (Chicago), Motif (Los Angeles), and Pastiche (Berlin).
