Mahkina is the alter ego of Mexico producer Alex Aguayo. In this project, he offers a perspective of a mixture between industrial sounds, classic rave drum sequences, and atmospheric trance grooves for clubbing purposes and gives us a look back into the 90s classic old-school vibes. The EP is composed of three original songs by Mahkina and three remixes made by: Imanol, Gala and Manuel Sahagun.

London-based electronic artist elshuffles is making a return; releasing his second album who bang the noise.
The album follows 2021&#39;s Disinformation Party, and while his debut was a collage made up from a few years of exploring different instruments and sounds, who bang the noise takes a different direction, depicting the melting-pot nature of London life across influences from techno, ambient, drone and electronica.
From the dawning ambient splendour of album opener fading poetry you’re immediately drawn into elshuffles deeply atmospheric vision. And though the tone shifts from light to dark multiple times over the course of its running time, that attention to mood and atmosphere remains in sharp focus.
Lead single months of electronic dreams represents the more straightforwardly optimistic tones, with its bright breakbeat and soft, billowing melodies, while the similarly structured but tonally opposed (busy) livin creates a darkly paranoid climate via chopped vocals and eerie, crackling pads.
Elsewhere, the haunting 4/4 pulse of lost for a while transports you to a dark basement rave, while tracks like them and uok demonstrate elshuffles painstaking attention to detail and love for the cinematic qualities of drone.
&quot;I wanted the second album to represent London, its streets and its people; what we see and don’t see, whether we choose to or not. I tested the album by travelling around London on public transport. Not with any prerequisites, just to work out how it fitted with the city. Part of putting my headphones on and making this album has been a way to escape but remain creative. That was my main target.” elshuffles

Listening to the album you feel tones of the ambient works of pioneers such as Eno and Budd, which quickly switch to much fatter dancefloor beats, juxtaposing moods

Yet another love story unfolds at Lykke, this time featuring two extraordinary DJ’s and producers: Dj City and towLie.

First in the spotlight is Dj City, a seasoned artist with an impressive background in music production and DJing. Hailing from Stockholm and currently based in Berlin, Dj City has garnered praise for his exceptional mixing skills and ability to craft captivating vibes over extended periods. As exemplified by his collaborations with Sling on the Born Free label, Dj City's proficiency behind the decks has been commended by none other than Samo DJ, who recognized his talent for seamlessly navigating between the realms of house, disco, and techno.

As a resident DJ for the renowned Cocktail D'Amore party series, Dj City has become an integral part of Berlin's vibrant music scene. His eclectic sets effortlessly traverse diverse musical landscapes, captivating audiences with his seamless transitions and expertly curated selections.

In addition to his prowess as a DJ, Dj City has also made significant contributions as a producer. Since his debut on Public Possession in 2019, he has explored various sonic territories, finding a temporary sweet spot in what can be loosely described as vocal house. However, his productions transcend simple categorization, drawing inspiration from EBM, Italo, and electro clash. Dj City's compositions are further elevated by his thought-provoking, introspective, and sometimes tongue-in-cheek lyrics, which delve into themes of love, sex, beliefs, and the complexities of modern urban life.

Jacqui Cunningham has shown to be an Sydney / Eora mainstay throughout their dynamic DJ career, showing a unique flare that’ll summon any dance floor. From disco to the purest of house & techno, they have established themselves as a genre merging DJ / Producer, with inspirations dating back to the classic records of Frankie Knuckles & Masters at Work. Being classically trained in piano at a young age, and having a music teacher as a Mother, their understanding of classic and contemporary music shines through every performance, aiding for cutting edge DJ sets mixed with waves of nostalgia.

This is probably why Jacqui’s history in the music scene has shown many impressive highlights. In the beginning years of their DJ career, they founded the notorious Sydney brand “GiRLTHING”, which is one of the biggest LGBTQIA+ collectives in Australia. GiRLTHING has toured throughout Australia, Singapore & Indonesia, not to mention selling out the iconic Metro Theatre every Mardi Gras, showing support from thousands of queer punters and their allies over the years.

Independently to GiRLTHING, Jacqui Cunningham has become a staple in the Australian festival circuit, playing recent shows at Subsonic,  Lost Paradise, Laneway Festival, Dark Mofo & Splendour in the Grass. They have shared the stage with some international heavy hitters like Peggy Gou, Jayda G, Denis Sulta, LF System, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Kylie Minogue, Ru Paul, Chicane, Horse Meat Disco & Hercules & Love Affair, just to name a few! It shouldn't be unmentioned that Jacqui also closed out the infamous World Pride Bondi Beach party earlier this year, playing to a roaring 15,000+ revellers.

On top of festival shows, Jacqui is very well acquainted with the local clubbing scene, regularly playing in some of the countries most pronounced venues on a weekly basis. From intimate bunker DJ sets to shows in massive pavilions, Jacqui has the ability to instil emotion in crowds big or small, with a collection of music dating back to the early 00’s.

Internationally, Jacqui has performed at festivals like “Yo! Sissy Festival” in Berlin and “Circuit Festival” in Barcelona. In the last two years alone they performed at Pony Boy in NYC, Amsterdam Dance Event in the Netherlands  & The infamous Treehouse Festival in Nicaragua. They also recently featured on Potato Head’s “Headstream Radio” in Bali. Jacqui has appeared on other live streams such as TEDx, triple j’s Friday Arvo Mix / The Kick On, FBi Radio, JOY FM (Melb), Radio Electronica (DE), as well as being asked to appear on SOHO radio in London and as a guest speaker on the EMC panel with Honey Dijon.

Adding to Jacqui's breadth of musical prowess, they released their debut EP on Karussell Records, “Paloma" in 2022, which has managed to secure them their shows in the USA and Central America. Jacqui also just recently remixed “Unknown Associates” latest single, which is available for download and streaming on all platforms in April 2023.
