Jacy Moon formally known as Jordon James is an explosively dynamic artist making waves with his unique blend of techno and trance. His sound is euphoric and bouncy, driven by big synths and thumping low-end grooves designed for maximum dancefloor energy. With a nod to the faster, harder edge of trance and 90s Goa, his tracks are devilishly bombastic yet playful and quirky. Drawing inspiration from artists like Alpha Tracks, Anetha, Gaston Fiore and Mac Declos, Jordon is motivated by forward-thinking sound design and distinctive, authentic sounds.

His passion for electronic music began with the iconic sounds of The Chemical Brothers and Ministry of Sound CDs, but truly deepened when he immersed himself in the techno scene at 18, with ‘Drumcode’ being his first official entrypoint. This sparked a fascination with the textural depth and complexity of more darker, underground sounds. Over time, his journey led him further into the faster, harder edges of techno and trance, with a pivotal moment at Kobosil’s set at Pitch Festival in 2019, where he discovered his true calling within the high-energy realms of techno.

Throughout his DJ career, Jordon has supported some of the biggest names in the underground electronic music scene, including Thomas Schumacher, Alex Stein, Wehbba, Mark Blair, Charlie Sparks, Shlomo, Parfait and BLK. He has also had his music supported by notable artists such as Laura King, Hasvat Informat, Vel, and Gaston Fiore.

Beyond the DAW, Jordon is actively engaged in Melbourne’s electronic music community and continues to push the boundaries of his sound, firmly ensuring his place in the global scene.
