Devon Rae is an eclectic producer member of the Funcc. Label currently based in Texas. He united with Natasha Ghosh, a dutch-indian ukulele instrumentalist based in Tenerife who specialises in soothing instrumentals to put up their EP Upper Regions. Together they gather a monthly audience of more than 1,5million listeners. Their sensible composition style made of soft fingerpicked notes and high bells shows through in The Summit. A soothing audio piece for all the nostalgic hearts out there.

The young MC from Los Angeles, CA represents the jazzy 90s rap sound like no other in 2023. Not only on the Westcoast but internationally. With over 15 million streams, two solo albums & various EPs and collabos, Kid Abstrakt is keeping the legacy of A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul & Pharcyde alive and relevant by using it as a source of inspiration to tell his own story. 

Born in LA to a Brazilian mother and a Nicaraguan father, Kid Abstrakt started out as part of local trio Revolutionary Rhythm before releasing his first album ‘Daydreaming’ in 2017, produced by The Deli from Austin, Texas. With a growing fanbase overseas Kid Abstrakt started working with producers and bands like Cap Kendricks (Germany), Emapea (Poland) and Jazzbois (Hungary).

‘Still Dreaming’ - his upcoming album for Melting Pot Music - is entirely produced by Leo Low Pass from Amsterdam. Leo's signature sound of jazzy boom-bap and Lofi beats provides the perfect backdrop for Abs positive and skillful rhymes.

‘On Point’ is the first singles and features Predominance on the second verse. „When I first heard this beat from Leo Low Pass, I knew I wanted to pay homage to some of my favorite artists while also telling my story.“ Kid Abstrakt says. “The main focus is always making sure the music is on point and that we provide good vibes for our supporters.“

"Beautiful Memories" is built on a succession of melancholy piano chords, a comforting saxophone and a warm bass-drum mix.  
John Linhart, producer of the "HoodyBoi" project, wrote the track as a tribute to his grandmother Susanna Linhart, a British painter who passed away in 2021. 

John's inspiration for this project came from the nostalgia he felt from Susanna's paintings of scenery around the house where she lived. Paintings that John used to create the Beautiful Memories EP cover, and for the two singles 'The Bush & 'Hang On'.

We found this to be such a touching story and feel honoured to share this one with you all. Enjoy!!
